DEACTIVATED THOMPSON M1A1 VIDEO

Deactivated Thompson M1A1 SMG in very good, original deactivated condition, with late war battle sight. Latest EU Spec, with moving rear bolt (under spring pressure), moving trigger, and selector. Complete with sling, three spare magazines, mag pouch, and five inert rounds. The M1A1 was the war production variant of the 1928 model Thompson. The Blish lock was done away with, and a heavier bolt utilized to slow the rate of fire. The cocking handle was moved to the side and the compensator was done away with. A simpler battle sight was added, and the barrel fins were done away with. Also, the stock was permanently attached. These changes made the weapon more reliable and less prone to jamming and also took about a pound in weight off the gun. A great piece of US military history and used by the US and her allies well into the Vietnam war. All deactivated weapons sold by D and B Militaria are deactivated in the United Kingdom and hold a London or Birmingham proof mark and certificate stating that the weapon has been deactivated correctly.
