We are doing things a bit different this time around...We have Other Content Creators in the call (most of who are pretty new to the game) and we are going to do our best to not talk over each other. Pretty challenging but let's see how it plays out.

What is Town of Salem?
Town of Salem is a fresh innovation on the classic party games Mafia and Werewolf. It is a game of murder, accusations, deceit and mob hysteria.
So the Derp Crew decided to head back in time to an Era that wasn't so kind to its Citizen. Where burning witches was legal, and hurting your local jailor wasn't really that frowned upon! We will attempt to deceive, trick, punish, and lie as we attempt to win for our faction and bring glory to our respective cause!

I like to imagine Veteran Chilled sitting just past his front door with a gatling gun, waiting for the half-dozen people who visited him to barge their way in.
At some point in the past, I think I heard Chilled mention about being in the military for a short while, so that may be why he's so chaotic all the time with these games
I imagine the final episode of Breaking Bad except the motorized HMG was inside firing outside.

Man, I remember my favorite game ever was all any mode.
I was an Serial Killer, and hit immune on night one. However, there was another SK who killed the same night. I hoped to collude, but they were caught and hanged that day though.
Night 2 I got a kill and there were no other kills beside mafia and myself, and I ended up dead on the stand. Town rightfully believed that was the end of the SKs.
Night 3. There’s another SK kill. Another SK hanged.
_And It just kept going. There were 5 Serial Killers that game, but only one of us killed per night so it was always a surprise that there was still one around. We all won_
Damn that sounds like such a fun experience

my favorite game, back before they changed everything, was 14 transporters and a single SK. all of us were named something like "the real sk". i was hanged on day 2 over a joke about bagel bites.
Similar thing happened with me, except when the second killer died I stopped killing for like 5 or 6 rounds. It's hilarious watching people squabble, Mafia and town-alike.
That game sounds like nothing short of a carnival ride. And I would there for it over an over.
I can't believe Chilled killed half the town and still won.

Idk if you guys would do it. Buy the beginning of this episode gave me an idea. One round you guys should randomize your names for each others names. I.e. Chilled becomes Courtilly or whatever. No one knows who has their name. But only the actual person can defend their own name. So even if Chilled is named Courtilly, only Courtilly can speak for Chilled. 😂

I always found all any to be a much more interesting way of playing town of salem. After a few years of dedicating myself into learning how to play this game at a higher level I found the means of how to deduce and avoid suspicion to be very straightforward to the point where the winrates for town were higher than mafia/neutral.
The biggest issue with playing ToS at "high" levels is that the general playerbase of the game just sucks at the game.
I don't know how many times I've lost matches, or watched content creators lose matches, where it's EXCEEDINGLY obvious who's evil, and just... literally no one listens for 5 days in a row and then the one last blatantly obvious mafia wins because the town just kept voting out all the important town roles instead of going after the guy that's practically admitting he's evil with every sentence he types.
I feel like the fact stupidity doesn't really matter in a mode like All Any to the same extent, is why it's usually more fun.
Because it really is just a... "for fun" game-mode. One that you don't need to take seriously. Thus, it's... fun. Because you aren't staring at a role list and going "the only roles left are a confirmed jailor, a confirmed mayor and a confirmed vet, and somehow they're voting out the confirmed jailor instead of the guy that HAS to be godfather"
That first game where Rep “jokingly claimed vet” reminds me of a match I had one time playing Town of Salem with randoms.
It was on classic. I was the jailor, two or more people jokingly claimed jailor like dumbasses so I jailed them, exed them, and they ended up being evil, lmao. Never joke about claiming a role, ever, lol.

Chilled if you somehow see this if you ever run into a person with a high defense make sure you blast them with the death note put something like “ shab has high defense” it will not come up like that only if they are GF EXE or anyone else with basic Defense
I thought they changed it so doctor provides level 2 defense and will show the message.
if the attacked person gets healed by a doctor the attacker will see the defence too strong message
this tactic is very, *very* untrusted due to the fact that, most of the time, death notes are used to try and make someone seem evil when they aren’t, so most people ignore those messages
Some clarifications:
There isn’t always a Godfather
If there’s both a Godfather and Mafioso, when the Godfather dies, the Mafioso is promoted to a Godfather
If there are no killing mafia (Godfather or Mafioso), a random mafia member turns into a Mafioso (but will never become a Godfather)
Vampires don’t convert on even nights. They act every night, except they can’t act the night after converting someone (hence the every other night conversions). Note that they can convert the night after killing someone, since kills don’t cause them to not act.
There can only be 1 of each unique role at a time (i.e. Jailor, Mayor, Veteran, Godfather). Otherwise, you can have multiple of a role.

Can I tell you guys the story of my best round as veteran?
So basically, I spawned in, got veteran, and thought “oh boy, this ain’t gonna be fun.” I spawned in night one, I claimed veteran, but I didn’t do much after that. Day 2. Someone had claimed a different role to what they previously claimed to be, raising suspicion. I chose not to use my ability again. Day three came, the same guy from before claimed a different role AGAIN and everyone voted him out. He was the consligere. I chose to use my ability that night. Nobody came. Night four, another member of the mafia voted out I was paranoid, and used my ability. I killed both remaining members of the mafia in one night. I won the game for the good side. I don’t know how I did that, but i’m not complaining.
I can't tell you how excited I am about this.
I found you way back in the day while you were playing ToS all the time. Time passed and I stopped watching your channel until Among Us came out. I randomly saw one of those videos and remembered the days I used to watch your content. This is the best throw back ever.

For an explanation of why Chilled won the second game and it wasn't a draw:
If it comes down to SK vs Godfather, SK wins by default since outside of an Any slot, the SK is alone. While on the flipside, the Godfather has other Mafia backing them up. And even if there are multiple SKs, they cannot communicate with each other at night like Mafia (or Coven in the expansion), so the game defaults in favor of SK.
I love the actual ToS videos, the among us arent scratching the same way.

My best time as a vet, I killed literally every town role except the Sheriff and Jailor. Got the SK and Mafioso. That was a fun game.

Vet is unique there can only be one
While blackmailed it is commonly accepted that you spam the vote button on someone to inform town you're blackmailed
