- How to remove and replace the front struts on a 2001 Toyota Corolla. Should be the same procedure for years 1998-2002 and a very similar procedure for other years.

Wow, first video on yt that has been clear, to the point nothing more or less. perfect vid! thanks!
That's what I aim for, thanks!!
Great video, with good tips and possible gotcha's identified. As another commentor noted it would have been nice if you showed some footage of the actual removal and replacement in order to show some of the problems we would face in those steps. From the looks of things, for us as home mechanics all the steps and tools you used are what we would have (or even less). But it would be good to see so that we can be better prepared for any challenges we may have to face - for instance the maneuvering the strut to get it in/out of that tight spot. It looks like from how you described it's like millimeter gaps to slither the strut in and out of the wheel well.
Thanks for the great video! I'm waiting for my struts to arrive.
Yea, just skipping from BEFORE to AFTER doesn't make me feel too good either.
Thank u for using a link
Did you notice the ride height change with the quick strut you bought? Used the complete setup before on another car and ride height was considerably higher!
Store is trying to charge me 1400$ the new strut is under 200 thank you a million
Glad I could help and save you some money!!
niccely explained
Thanks!
how was it over time?
how such a friend I have a similar car is corolla 2000 used the translator to translate comments but in the video you can't translate it to me you could put Spanish translation in the videos thanks to me from Mexico
You should show the actual removal and installation of the parts rather than only giving instructions.

Be careful with 29 ft lb torque busted a stud off at that torque spec. Could have been a badly manufactured stud. Use caution other than that very helpful guide
I like to actually go a little lower than the recommended for just that reason.
