Someone in the discord asked about the differences between normal and hard mode so I just did a run to see. You must hit the flashback in the room with the chipper in Prison South, and you can't death warp in Choir. Two things you have to do differently in Any%, a few things in Glitchless. Not worth to make a separate category for unless demand is high imo. (By demand I mean people must actually do runs, instead of just ask for runs.)
One last thing to note: it's actually not a bad idea to pick up the Lantern lol. You have to make a guess as to where you are for certain jumps in Storage, and it's also really hard to see in Prison. Mostly useful in Storage.
(At 12:25 I thought something was wrong with my splits so I had to check. Timer was not paused, but if you don't count that in then this run is a 27:48. Whatever lol it wasn't good. Oh I also just noticed the Real Time timer bugged out. Real Time was 29:52.)

Skyreon ive beaten it in 3 minutes by accident, i did the breach at around 2:40 too but died there and i spawned at the “end battle” with my inventory from my previous game which was in normal mode is this against the rules? bc if not this might be a breakthrough
Yeah it's known, and if this ever ends up on the leaderboards it would be banned. It's the same if I were to start a run on a blank file of Twilight Princess (which has 3 save files), where one of the save files had saved before the final boss. If I start on the blank file, game over, select "No, I do not wish to continue" which would bring me to the title screen where I can select the other file. This game just selects the file for you, but it's obvs not a file from the same run.
