    You're right that separate products are more effective than tablets. But eco mode is not as good as other modes for cleaning because its not using hot water. And you should not use tablets with eco mode because they won't dissolve properly. That is why your power saving is there. The idea is to clean the dishes and hot water does that best. So eco mode is a crap mode if you want proper cleaning. Also don't worry about shine on the metal it's just the percarbonate from the fortune and not rinse aid. It washes off and there is no residue.

    Hi can the uploader or anyone who's been using the dishwasher could help me out with this question: I'm been using 35 minutes cycle as I'm single and was thinking it consumes less electricity too as it's shorter duration. But I'm getting close to ₹1000 extra since I started using dishwasher. So coming to eco wash option it takes 3.5 hours and I'm assuming it consumes more electricity as it runs 3.5 hours and it says .0.9 kwhs for echo which is per hour so it's 0.9 X 3.5 hrs??? So how is eco option really economical compared to rapid 35 minutes option???? Please do answer. Thanks in advance 😊😊

    • @CommonManLife
      @CommonManLife  Před 3 lety +4

      Rinse aid is very easy check, there is clear indicator on rinse aid cap.
      When it's full dark circle - it's fully filled
      When it's half dark circle then half filled
      If glass is fully transparent then it's empty
      Additionally there is indicator on panel for rinse aid. It glows when rinse aid box is empty.
      For salt also there is indicator on panel which glows when salt refill is required.
      For salt, my practice is I fill every 45 days. I write fill date on dishwasher with temporary marker. Each time I fill complete 1 kg salt.
      Salt is needed only if you have hard water in your area. If you have municipal water supply then adding salt is no use.

      Rinse aid cap opening and closing is 90 degrees apart. I tried to keep that cap at 45 degree assuming it will use half rinse aid, but the observation was it was consuming same or even lil more rinse-aid.

    If it’s used twice than it will cost you more than 1000 for the detergent.
    Also eco is not used for heavily soiled utensils
    Intensive has to be used for Indian utensils which easily consumes 1.6 units don’t fool.
    If we use it twice a day it will cost us around 1626 according to your products used and your rate of electricity.

      You're right he is clueless like many that wants to save electricity at the expense of cleaning. Eco mode is useless for cleaning because it does not use hot water which is what intensive uses and the results speak for themselves. But separate products instead of tab is better

      @@aakashsuryi9098 Dishwasher is still a new appliance for most Indians. Second hand shifting starts only for mature products. Better you plan for new one. Wait for sale for best price.
