There is no such criteria for tds. Use tap water no borwel. You can just add more salt and Detergent as per the requirements.

No you can't use homemade detergent.
You should purchase "FINISH" Brand product like Detergent, Salt and Rinsad.
If you don't purchase 3 different things, so you should buy a tablet of "FINISH" Brand.
