    I’m no tech person, but just set mine up, which was simplicity itself. Set it on to charge via the USB, downloaded the app onto my iPad. Then switched it on while still connected to charger, went to WiFi settings on the iPad, where it had already been discovered, put in the password, went back to the app and the iPad screen is already showing a close up of the worktop, the camera end is resting on. Thought set up would be much more complex than this. What am amazing piece of tech for £30. Good quality images, with pic taking within app. Disconnected charger and it’s already up and running as a wireless unit. Nice touch that accessories included for free. Can’t wait to really use it.

    Hello,
    Thanks very much for posting your review. If it wasn't for you, I wouldn't have got mine going so quickly! I don't know why mine did not come with as much as the accessories as yours did and the instructions were not like yours you posted in the video. Instead, it was microscopic in size not as clear with explaining the connection method. In fact, it was in four other languages with only one illustration poorly detailing the process for connection.
    Anyway, thanks for being clear and on point with the process and with the facts of which you encountered in your experience. I watched two other videos prior to yours and the first just said it's quite simple getting started and the second said, "read the manual, the passcode is somewhere easy to find in there". I guess giving a little visual aid was just a little too much trouble for them. But, not for you. So, thanks again for that!

    Thnx mate. Your website got me logged in. I live in Hawaii, borrowed my friend's scope to investigate water leak up in the ceiling plumbing. Fortunately not an emergency yet. Collecting abot 1/2 cup. per day. So I have had time to do first assessment, reach out plumbers, insurance agent and property managers to secure mechanical plans. I hope this help find where the water is coming from. Mahalo. I have family in Hounslow.

    It sucks. Cannot get it to work on my iPhone. Why don't the programmers make everything plug and play?

    It works well, but my battery only seems to last about 20 minutes before needing a recharge.

    Mine works for 2 to 15 min and then loses video. I have to spend 5 min. to shut off and reconnect everything, then again works for 2 to 15 min. Very frustrating.

      It might be overheating, i recently bought one and i disassembled it non-destructively, it has a serious heatsink for it's little cpu, i was searching if i could connect it using good old usb, the camera lens itself is pretty much a webcam, the only problem is that i think it runs of 3.5 volts, and the LEDs are driven by the "transmission" unit, will be doing some tests tomorrow and buying some solder.
      TLDR: try using yours while it's charging, if the image doesn't stop after a while it's possible is just running out of battery 😅

    How silly putting the magnet in the way of the camera, lol. Could have easily offset it in case you need to see where the thing is, because the magnet won't be that strong and may take some slow wiggling to pull something out.

      It doesn't say in the instructions, however I charged it for half an hour. Pretty sure it works when it's on charge too

    Is it possible to connect it to a surrounding wifi network to access remotely with unlimited range?

    • @zxcxz
      @zxcxz  Před rokem

      Not in my experience. The device acts as a WiFi master and your phone connects to it, rather than the other way round

  • @MrGraybenn

    Is it possible to transfer the images or videos to a USB drive/computer? I don't think so.

      The pictures and videos taken can be saved to the device you use to view the image. You can then do this magical thing called email, and send the files directly to yourself.

    If they are going to tell idiots not to use as a hammer- they really need to list EVERYTHING you can't use it as- or someone will try to drive it, eat it, f*** it, and/or wear it. Since those are all equally logical with the hammer use case.

  • @mohammedcohen
    @mohammedcohen Před 5 lety +1

    "...not to be used as a hammer"...indeed!!! This known as 'lawyer-proofing'...IMHO any 'shysteh lawyeh' who takes the case of a client who uses the device as a hammer, should be not only physically laughed out of court, but beaten to death with a REAL hammer!!!

      @@zxcxz I was an avid builder of Japanese (Tamiya) 1/35th model kits in my youth...the translations of the Japanese characters in the instructions into literal (not idiomatic) English was always a source of amusement for me...this is the inherent problem...translating into textbook English (or any language for that matter) the best translations are (or should be) done the idiomatic usage of that language...
