so excited for next season, Mount and Onana fit ETH's system perfectly and with Bruno the captain things are moving in the right direction.
Thing I’m most excited about mount is that it now allows us to be stronger in midfield in certain games. Against probably 6 or 7 teams mount will be a huge upgrade on Eriksen. But then the rest of the games we will have a fitter rested Eriksen to thrive

Striker yes, seems we will get Hojlund as terms are agreed,but ball playing mid i think we have signed one already, and DVB,Eriksen,Scott,bruno and mount will fill the 8 and 10 position, we just need backup CDM for case, preferably amrabat or caecedo if we ever decide to go after him, and maybe a later CB if we can
He is going to revolutionize this united side without a doubt. Only thing left is to sign a striker, preferably Hojlund, and I think we can challenge for the title. GGMU! ❤🔴

@@mm2801the striker situation is really hard tbf. I think our ready made targets are going to be unaffordable so we either go for a young striker who profiles well or look elsewhere at something different (Taremi maybe)
@@derekshinpad450 he'll be on the bench by December, then we will be forced to play rashford up top again his limitations in that position are well known but he'll still score more than hojland. It's just not ideal. Hopefully Sancho and amad can excel on the wings and create enough to compensate.
@@mm2801 I’d take anyone up front than rely on Rashy. He’s good enough as a 9 but not to challenge properly plus he always gets injured at least once

Such a good significant signing! And I'm excited to see him matching up with Licha, Cass, Shaw and Bruno. I actually think Martial, if fit could benefit from this signing in time. I'm only a couch fan nowadays, and probably more knowledgeable in rugby for that matter, but even there, a better front row or back row player can transform a wingers game entirely, especially in confidence to take up positions or time certain runs.
I don't want to get ahead of myself, but this is definitely my favourite signing from United since Mata (and possibly an ageing Cavani).

I just cant accept how much Statman Dave is criticizing De Gea but wont say a bad word about Maguire who is far worse in his position than David is at his. Also playing Maguire is like having a gangrene foot and keeping it on until it infects the entire body. Maguire's very presence disrupts the entire structure of the team. David is not a good modern keeper, but we never needed to babysit him or alter the entire defensive structure for his inabilities.
Dave can you do an analysis of Axel Disasi? Seems to be the man ETH wants for that centre back role

I wanted De Gea to stay for 1 more year due to budget restrictions, but if not, there was only 2 keepers I would have taken, not Raya, not Costa - only Onana and Maignan.
Towards the end of the season it was clear ETH wanted another keeper whether De Gea stayed or not

We need a def ball playing midfielder. Casemiro is good, but we seen that he was not at his best at the end of the season. I believe there must be cheap players with decent potential who we could invest on OR best case is to use Mainoo. And the most important - NO 9

This crop of players not the ones ten hag bought in but those who have been here for a while have only thrived when playing in transition and that is a bit confusing what the identity of this team will be
I just feel ten hag can't keep reverting back to sitting deep and relying on transitions
There needs to be a revolution and hopefully onana is one of those pieces but this squad still needs a lot of work in my opinion

Expecting is an understatement, people will be shocked with the lack of super saves DDG did over the years, we got accustomed to a goalkeeper simply stopping mega shots, Onana will work better in ten Hag's system, but shot stopping will be average just like rest of the Prem League goalkeepers like Ederson.

Imagine hearing someone make a video with your name? It's an attack on David by Dave.
I want Dave to do the same on Maguire or Bruno. Misplaced passes happen, even from the world's best. Allison or Ederson or Ramsdale make serious errors but the media narrative excuses them but when it's David, because it's click bait, they use don't protect the man. Over time one begins to lose their confidence and its not fair.
Look at Lingard, Ali, these players struggled with such criticism and De gea is no exception to this critique.
