Room SCAN to annotated 3D MODEL (Rhino 3D)

There are some great uses for lidar in architecture and design. I will be looking at using the built in lidar scanar on the iphone pro and the free app irhino to instantly convert the scans into a segmented and layered 3d model.
As your move around the app processes it into clean geometry on the phone, so messy geometry, distortions or points cloud.. This can be then simple downloaded with all these layers and dimensions to use for your design work and drawings. This model can even be taken a step further to be 3d printed or used for augmented reality.
There are quite a few room scanning apps out there but I will be using iRhino3D as has found it one of the easiest to use and prdouces the cleaneased models without the unnecessary details clutering the rooms.
