Amen!
My wife and I got saved while watching CZcams sermons by Pastors like John McArthur, Paul Washer, Voddie Baucham etc. Happened during Covid-19 back in 2020. Thank you Lord for technology (phones and social media etc) but yes we must be cautious and not be mastered by it.
Good and very content, thanks!
“Technology is a solid instrument but it is a terrible master.”- Dr. Strachan
Wow! That’s a good way to put it! We were made for God so let us use our resources for the glory of God and not for carnal pleasures!
These are wise words. Technology is just a tool. It has become an idol for many people.
Yeah at this point I don’t have any social media asides CZcams and Spotify. I was really addicted to Instagram, Snapchat ETC… but the Lord has helped me focus on him more than anything else, it’s helped not only my walk but mental health not feeling like I have to keep up with the Jones’s posting content.
“These habits, if you fight for them, will pay off” 🙌🏼
Great message 🤝🏾. It's so easy to gravitate towards filling our free time or boredom with an unhealthy amount of digital involvement. Half the stuff we engage in doesn't add value to our lives or help us grow spiritually and operate within our limits.
Fighting for healthy Godly habits ❤️.
For a long distance truck driver. Who is never home. Tech is a good tool for practicing the Faith. But not the only tool. But a good tool.Fathers providence has many forms.
Great discussion
13:00 deeply thankful for Owen's transparency here. Excellent and honest
Such a great topic of discussion. I so much need to minimize my connection to the digital world and this dialogue really helped me with some solid truths to be thinking through in obtaining that goal.
Thank you Jonny and Owen, this is inspiring and such relevant information!
So helpful, thank you. My wife and I got saved watching sermons from Paul Washer, Steven Lawson, RC Sproul and many such.
Regards
