Blessed. I like how you mention about throwing back fish that ppl don't or won't eat, and proper disposal of line.
Completely agree. Solid video and advice.
What does the live bait count into tho..
I really appreciate that your dad goes fishing with you so much. My Grandfather used to fishing with me all the time and I miss him so much. Thank you for being real and educational.
I’m surprised you only have 80k subs, you make super high quality informative videos and I can honestly say you helped me catch some big fish
Old video but ty for seemingly being the literal only person on youtube that actually explains how your suppose to use lures cause not all of us had/have a in life teacher.
Thanks again for all your advice. I’ve honestly had to figure most of this out over the years by trial and error. Sometimes by watching to see what other people were using. CZcams is a wonderful thing for this information and You and Your channel is probably my favorite. Keep up the Great work. Promoting the fun of Fishing and looking after our environment too.

Im from Australia, and fish mainly rivers for our native fish. I love your vedios because its cool to see how people in America target fish and the similarities and differences between targeting methods. My favourite method is catching fish on surface lures, especially Murray Cod ( native river fish) 😏👍
I haven't fished since I was very little, but I have wanted to relearn. Thank you so much for your videos! I have found them very informative, and I also appreciated your warning about cutting up lines and only keeping fish if you intend to eat them! I look forward to watching more of your videos!
I appreciate the time you take to inform people about different fishing techniques. Above all I appreciated the fact that you inform people not to kill each fish they catch especially small fry.
In the past I was a keen fisherman but now I don't have much time for fishing. I would like to try the sabiki rig and I agree although I never used it that 2/3 hooks are enough as I used a similar one with live shrimps. Keep on posting and best regards!
Just subscribed to your channel. I have been an avid fisherman all my life and I love that you have created a channel to share and explain your passion of fishing with the masses. Great channel!
I really enjoy your positive look towards ocean life preservation. I usually don't comment, but like your videos and how you explain things. Thank you.
Awesome video! Really helpful for beginners interested in pier fishing.
Let em go and let em grow!
I stumbled onto your videos and I like the simplicity of them. I live on the Gulf coast of Florida and learning to fish all over again
I agree
Yeah me too I liv in tampa nd randomly felt the urge to want to pick fishing bck up
Awesome work. Thanks for adding those comments at the end. Keep using your platform to spread these environmentally positive messages.
The message at the end is extremely valuable, respect! First video I watched and learned some things, now subscribed 👍
❤️ we do our best to raise respectful fishermen!
@@HeySkipper RAISE MORE FISHERMAN!!! RAISE MORE FISHERMAN!!! *chanting raise more fisherman*
I really appreciate you talking about about preserving or natural resource! KUDOS!
Very good totorial. Ligit. Thanks for doing such a great job. I fished commercially for years. You are right on the money. I'm going to use this for teaching young beginners. Thanks well done!
Love how ur dad gave the rod to the girl to reel in the fish. Just awesome.
What a great video format, examples of different rig types and uses, small starter kit and how it works, examples in action, love it. Even touched on ocean conservation ❤
I loved the educational part of this video! It’s great for people that want to know about these different rigs.
yessss
Pasta sauce
You're beautiful
Morgan Miller what is your IG? I want to creep on you 😍
One of the best reviews out there! Great great job fella! 💪🏼👍🏼🤜🏼
Sir Brendon, ur explaination is soo clear i didn't have to rewind the video to understand everything u say. Amazing. Its really helps, maybe someday i could use that to technique thanks a lot
Love your message!!! Love your wife too! She's what we fishermen call a "Keeper"!!! God Bless you and your family!!! Keep up the good work!👍👍👍🐟🐟🐟
Great video and I loved the message at the end of it. SO true! We need to protect the environment so we can keep having a hobby!
Except for the part where he said, "cut the line up", and as i understood it, throw it in the ocean.....thats just fucked up.
@@Timeren2010 no i don't think he means throw it into the ocean. Im preety sure he means as you dispose of it. As in throw it away, if its cut up it wont be a tangled mess for any critter.
@@MrUKFred some local Mom and Pop bait/tackle stores might do something similar in the U.S . But I havent heard of any organization/charity in the U.S, that wants my old fishing line. Maybe its just the midwest where im from 🤷♂️. It could be more a prominent thing near the Ocean coasts.
Thats cool that the U.K has a nice program like that.
@@MrUKFred yeahs in FL(a lot of fishing here) there’s a lot of stands for old line and old fishing gear that you don’t want so you can dispose of it, but some people are careless but what can we do about it, just do our part!
Very great vid. great information very generous guy giving away all the information we need.. one of the most important thing about fishing is the technique of dealing with the rod the three was you showed in the beginning of the vid. once again thank you very much and God Bless you and the family and your friends
Had to rewatch this video, heading to Huntington Beach Pier this weekend. So excited, thanks SS 👌😁
Great video, I haven’t saltwater in over 12 years. I just watch almost all your video’s and relearn how to fish all over again. Thank you
I’ve been watching your videos for a while and I just love every video. I’m no good at fishing but your videos are always fun to watch
Thank you for the video, I am watching this right before I head out to the pier.
Just watching this in 2020, Im ready to step my game up, thanks 💪💪
I love the energy and passion in your voice and mannerisms when teaching. Great channel.
Senko u truly are doing an amazing job with educating ppl abwt fishing...keep it up bro...
Very nice video. Thank you for helping teach conservation. We have way too much waste of resources today. Tight lines!
Thanks. Your video helps a lot. Wish we have someone we know that can teach us in person. My kids wanted to try fishing and both my husband and I know nothing about it. Last time we went we didn't know what to do but hope for luck and of course got nothing. Now watching your videos with my kids to learn more before we go again next time.
Amazing talk about keeping fish here for the future. Everyone spread the word about releasing fish and limiting what you keep. SenkoSkipper u earned my subscription😁
I love your videos cause there so informative. Keep up the good work. I’ll be watching and liking
Love your message at the end. A lot of people don’t care enough only because they are unaware.
That PDF. Genius, such a good idea for the channel. Way to be innovative!
Where did you find the PDF file?
You guys like inspiration to me for fishing and now I want to go fishing every single day
Thank you! Very simply explained. A lot of nice tips.
Thank you for the tips it helped me a lot!!!!
Hey Skipper..i am learning so much watching your videos..thank you so much
Finally a new video! Hope to see more video more often!
Great video and great advice at the end. We need to try and keep our oceans and lakes full of marine life.
I’m glad you put that message at the end. It absolutely kills me when people take chunks of coral, or unethically fish at places.
Aww I couldn't do live baiting... Couldn't hurt that little fishy 😭
Great video definitely makes me wanna go fishing on a pier
Great video i just started to learned about fishing and your video help a lot thanks!
Thought the video as a whole was good but the PSA at the end earned you a sub from me. Nice content!
Awesome video!! Thank you for the good info buddy
I have really enjoyed your videos and I am glad I found you and subscribed to your channel. I really appreciate how you bring your father with you in whatever adventure you start. My father and I had the same relationship, and if he hadn't have brought me as a little boy on his fishing trips I may never have known the beauty of the water. Good Job! Later in life he lived with me and I brought him when ever I went "in the north country." This is a Minnesota thing! Haha. Land of 10,000 lakes remember? Anyway, the both of you are eloquent, speak very well, keep it clean, and keep me interested. Keep up the good work guys!
Thank you! It’s so nice to hear that you connect the same way with your father. It’s true if our fathers didn’t take us fishing when we were kids, we might not have been able to have this experience!
Great video. I like your comments about conservation, protecting the fishery and environment.
Thank you for that statement at the end. It infuriates me when I see people keeping every single thing they bring up out of the ocean. They'll say "I don't eat them, I'll probably just give it to friends/family/etc" and you know damn well they're just going to freeze it until it's no good anymore. I get people asking me all the time "you're not keeping it?!" when I catch a small bass or something. Wtf am I gonna do with one tiny fish?
gOtTa eaT!111!!1!!! /s yeah it's really frustrating when they catch something the size of the bait/lure and just toss it in a bucket to asphyxiate.
@@ronniebowers1241 but they dont eat half of it!
Hi! I'm new to fishing and I'm so happy I came across your channel! Great information!
Well. Done. Mate. Wonderfully insightful video. Us. Aussie’s. can use a lot of your information. Thank. You. Cheers.
I really appreaciate that Erin spends all that time and effort to film and edit these amasing videos!😀😀😀😀😀
Great message for those guys that do not follow regulations and great tutorial for beginner:)
Such a great video. Headed down to Miami for a vacation and looking to get on some pier fishing but i’m huge freshwater guy from Michigan. Perfect info my man!
Just getting into fishing and this vid was really helpful - thanks bud
Thank you for the tips. I was able to catch 2 Spotted Sand Bass with the Soft Plastic tips off of Shelter Island Pier in San Diego Ca. I caught my first Spottie within the first hour. Thank you brother.
I agree love your videos watching all the way from Trinidad and Tobago 🇹🇹 ❤❤❤❤
Thank you so much for all the great advice just makes a lot of sense hearing it from a experienced fisherman
Happy to help:)
With braid I also like the clinch knot. But a tip is to make three or four simple overhand knots afterwards. It doesn’t hurt anything to do this on braid but will help with knot slipping undone. Leave a little longer tag end than usual as well on the swivel. A drop of superglue is a bonus.
i enjoy your videos, i also respect the message for anglers at the end. thanks and tight lines friend
Really like your video, to the point and helpful.
Skipper...you have taught me sooo
Much about all types of saltwater fishing..just watched your black and purple night time lure video.
Keep up the great work..Ill be tuning in...
PS: your wife is a rip..love her
Great video - and I do agree with your last statement about fishing - basically - eat what you kill and release everything else ( handling them properly)
Great video with a great message
Very very helpful video. Definitely hitting that subscribe button. I’m heading fishing out to the piers at Manhattan and Hermosa Beach tomorrow. Wish me luck. Happy Fishing from the West Coast!
What a great vid. Like this guy and his narration / explaination
Awesome video young man, very helpful, thanks
Great informative video. Love this channel coz of this, u give great tips. Thank you bro!
I just started fishing 🎣 an because of work (Runner for UPS ) but I just started an with my sons too, going to be watching some more videos!
Godd video with good information and your teaching method is thorough and clear however my favorite part of your tuition is the responsibility you show by making sure you preach ethics to insure the health and future well being of the fish and the enviroment that we find them in.good job mate i just subbed😁👍✌
Brilliant lesson
Cool video as always and thanks for the tips GB
Just some point of emphasis. Start making the rig by working on the tail end (where the hook is setup here) and don't cut the line from the spool. That way if you make a mistake, you can just keep pulling line off the spool and keep the length of line required for your rig. If you cut it first, then mess up, well....... you know :-)
Just my two cents - I've made hi-lo rigs cutting the line first, and ended up not having the length I've needed due to mess ups here and there. If I start with the dropper loop, and pull off line as I go, I've had better success
Thank you!
i really like how you answer all my questions and giving tips for me (im begginer to saltwater) and for that i am subing
I like that you're talking about preserving nature, but when you suggest that we should cut up our line it can be seen as it then is ok to cast in the water. Bring used line home and dispose of it in a safe and eco friendly way. Love your channel. And I love you, Erin and your father as well. You're very professional. Best regards from Norway
love ur vids im fairly new to this despite working on a trawler when i was a kid . now that i love sushi and im a fish addict food wise. yeaa responsibility is important . keeping small fish makes absoloutley no sense . nice to see your baits etc
Hi Skipper,I really love that reel collection on the wall BOB
Hey sinko skipper do you know what is really cool watching your vids till the end ? Nice PSA !!! Good Job !
From indonesia
great instructional video and good advice for ALL at the end.--good for the environment.
Very cool video! I don’t live by a pier but if I did, I’d be watching this again before going to fishing.
I like those last piece of your advices......our future generation.....that concerns.a lot...tqvm..(Lumut Malaysia)

I’m digging that collection of Mitchell’s back there. Those were my first reels in Hawaii and caught many a fish 🤙🏻
good video. i especially like that, towards the end of your video, you give a heads up about being environmentally aware. really never see that in any other videos.
Respect for that PSA. Fantastic, informative video. That adventure kit is a GREAT idea. Thanks man.
How can I get the kit
The adventure kit
You are the best man.. thank you for the videos.. I’m learning a lot!
Just bought the Pier & Surf fishing kit brother. Looking forward to getting back into it all, and appreciate your advice and help! When you come out to SoCal, would happily join for a good ole fashion fish, catch, and grill on the beach!
Please help me I really need the kit
