Galaxy’s Edge is one of the most detailed theme park lands thus far. We once talked to a cast member friend of ours there about the written history they created just for Batuu. Even down to the story behind bullet holes on the walls.
A week ago I was waiting to get on Rise (boarding group 97) and the ride broke down 3 times while we were in line. We got through the first 2 preshows (to the room with all of the stormtroopers) and the ride shut down again. We had been waiting for over 2 hours at that point. They kicked us all off and gave us a fastpass to come back as soon as the ride was back up and running. About an hour later it was running again and we were able to use our fastpass to skip the line and we got right on. I thought the ride was great, but we were very disappointed in how much time we spent waiting in that line during our only day at Hollywood Studios. After riding it and seeing all of the complicated stuff that was put into making it, I do see how it could breakdown so often.
It does make one wonder how often anyone is actively changing around potential problematic code or mechanics or if every time they are just turning it off and turning it back on. Maybe a week of down time or a months worth of night work all at once can balance some of that out. Otherwise it just sounds like the ride will be a headache forever.

On Smuggler's Run, when you land back in Battu, you can see a Star Speeder 1000 taking off from the landing pad that the Falcon is usually parked on.
Currently playing Djisney Magic Kingdoms game where you build your own kingdom, and just received our first section of Star Wars. When I am able to return, I will now have a fuller understanding of everything and all the new characters, thanks to you Molly. This is a fabulous video you have made for us.

Seems like i had to do that all through DW too with our boy since kids don't notice they're about to get ran over or are in someone else's way.
Looked to me like he was being polite by getting his kid out of Chewie's way, or perhaps he was worried the guy couldn't see *down* well enough to not trip over him wearing that mask.
I think he was being polite, which I think is great. That's why Chewbacca patted his back as a thank you I think.

There's also an orange R5 droid unit in front of the Droid Depot, and I think it's U9-C4 from season 5 of Star Wars: The Clone Wars when Colonel Gastcon had 4 droids go undercover to steal a Separatist Encryption Module. There is caution tape on one of his compartments because it was modified so that he's equipped with a laser slicer (almost like a lightsaber laser beam). The funny thing is that he always forgets to magnetize his feet to the ground and the laser ends up recoiling him all the way to the other side of the room.
Love all the easter eggs, it is great to look all over the place rather than just jump from ride to ride. Definitely do more of these

AllEars.net crew, thanks for the tips about looking down for hidden details! On the track for loading/unloading at Pooh in MK, the YELLOW/BLACK caution strip is a honey bee design. At Ariel in MK it's a GOLD/BLACK ocean wave design. I bet Peter Pan in MK and Seas/Nemo in EPCOT have a cute detail too, but I didn't know to look until after we rode those rides on our last visit.

Aww... Rise made Molly cry. *hugs* I hope to cry like that when I finally get the chance to ride it... However... I feel like the ride is broken down more than it's actually running and to me, that's really bad... They really need to shut it down full again and figure out what's causing the breakdowns, fix them, and then reopen so things can run more smoothly and they're not just pissing everyone off all the time.
Honestly it’s not as bad as it seems, it does have large down times but MOST days they’re able to get a large number of guests through. The crap part is people coming to the park before open day after day and not being able to get a boarding pass. I like the boarding pass system, but I don’t like the free for all of it. Guest who are staying on resort should have the option to “join a boarding group” before their trip. Like, there should be an allotment of resort guest boarding groups each day that can be reserved. And a limit on only one per stay.
I mean, people spend thousands and thousands of dollars to stay in Disney resort hotels. Loads of people booked their vacation months and months and months ago specifically so that they could ride this ride, they should be given a fair shot. A lottery of everyone in the park at open is not a fair shot.

Loved the video and loved this exploration of Galaxy's Edge. I cannot wait to go back and i hope my brother, who is a huge SW fan, can make it back with us the next time. Did anyone happen to catch the hidden Mickey in the Black Spire Outpost? I only bring this to attention because Molly said that there really weren’t any around.
If you have patience and ask nicely at the right opertunity on a less crowded day you might get lucky with a picture of the characters. I got one with Rey after I saw her going to do some work with her X wing and I took the chance to ask her when she was walking away from it. Another fan tried to talk her into an autograph as she was doing her "routine" at the X wing and I could have tell him to wait until she got of her "stage".
Sometimes you have a lot use of all the experience I got from waiting to talk to actors after shows. Johan.

No hidden mickeys there but there is a hidden Millennium Falcon underneath the Millennium Falcon outside alongside the fencing.

At the 24:52 mark, you can see 3 blaster shots over your left shoulder that sort of resembles the hidden mickey you were talking about. Could that be it?

Hitting the my status button will bring you to a screen where you can select who you want to make a boarding group with. So you can do everyone with you at the time, just you, or anything in between!
Looking to make reservations for Oga's Cantina, but we have light saber reservations at about 6:10pm the day we go. I thought about making reservations at about 6:55pm but will it be a pain or dangerous to carry around the light saber? I'm afraid of it getting broken! Any tips would be great! The sabers come with a sling type holder so you can have it over your shoulder. Honestly it’s not that packed in the cantina so I wouldn’t worry about it!
You should be able to use package pick up, as long as your planning on staying late enough at the park for it to arrive at the pick up location.

I need help with a question about Savvis workshop i’m going to Disney by myself so when I tried booking for it. It said I need to be 18 since I’m only 16 my parents need to make reservations so they did and put me down as the person doing the experience. but it didn’t appear on my plans on the my Disney experience app. So when I get there will I still be able to do it and how will they charge me. Will I need? My photo ID? And will I need to bring the credit card used to make the reservation or can I just bring cash to pay for it?

There is a hidden Mickey on Smuggler’s Run. After your group is called and your watching the video of Hondo, look on the side of the video screen and you will see a hidden Mickey.

Hidden Mickey's: To the right of Docking Bay 7 entrance, on the ramp down towards the Falcon exit. 3 blast holes and To the right of the Falcon, on the wall of Oga's 3 more blast holes. Also, instagram Disney 366 shown me a pic of a tiny hidden Mickey in rock work some where in GE. He refused to tell me exactly where it is. He said it is the on official hidden Mickey. The Blast hole Mickey are cool.
