I was so shocked because I was coming from an XXXL and tried on the XXL and it was huge on me. I know spirit jerseys are sized larger than normal sweatshirts but wasn’t expecting it to fit like a tent. So when I tried on the XL and fit I was so happy!
When Peter said, “I’m an XL now!” it made me smile ear to ear, that’s how you do it Peter - you did that! I remember the day when I finally fit inside a smaller size and just standing in the fitting room amazed at the transformation so your moment of clarity really resonated with me. Keep up the amazing work on your weight loss journey(s)! 🫶🏼
Thrilled for your weight loss Peter, I could see pure joy in your eyes. Its not easy and losing 55 pounds is something you should be so proud of (coming from someone who just lost 30 and is pushing for more)
6:55 CONGRATS PETER! Great job in becoming an XL! (He's so happy 🥹) 22:22 is she an actual fan of the show? She knew you had traveled. That's pretty cool.
You guys are really sweet to watch as a couple. You remind me of my first love and I. We loved going to theme parks together and enjoying everything like children. Unfortunately, he passed away very young and I don’t have anyone to go on adventures with now, but I absolutely love watching your travels and seeing all of the new stuff at the parks that I probably won’t get see. Thank you for your content because I can see that you two are truly partners in fun, food and imagination and you really enjoy every experience together. I enjoy living vicariously through your adventures. ❤
That ET merch is awesome!! Funny ET related story: in highschool my friend watched ET in his Spanish class, and for the entire day he would say lines from the movie in Spanish in ET's voice. 20 years later I still "ET telefono mi casa!" Whenever I see ET.
Smiled so hard when Peter got so excited about being able to fit into a XL! Way to go!! As someone who lost a significant amount of weight, I get the struggle! You are a motivation and should be so proud of yourself! You guys are the best!
Love you guys. Thankyou so much for taking me and my kids on adventures with you. We love how you both never loose that Disney wonder. We will never be able to visit these places you take us. And we thankyou soooooo much ❤
They did have the jaws body photo op on the upper lot for a long time. I remember taking photos putting my head inside his mouth when i was younger in the mid to late 2000's. It was near the entrance on the corner that leads to the plaza
Congratulations on your health journey, Peter! That’s amazing progress! Love you guys, I look forward to your videos every week 😊 my favorite comfort creators on CZcams ❤
Woody Woodpecker is everywhere because he is technically the icon/mascot for Universal Pictures! He hasn’t been represented that much in the parks in recent years but he’s still considered the icon 😊
The Jaws photo-op was removed from the upper lot because the Amity Island-themed shop it was next to was one of several that needed to be demolished for Hogsmeade. The shop even had a small pond and boardwalk. The hanging Jaws was permanently on the upper lot before that and was only put into storage about 13 years ago. I'm glad to know Universal didn't trash it like they did the Orca, Quint's boat. The Orca was displayed in the Amity Island segment of their Studio Tour at one point, before it rotted away on the Studio Tour due to neglect like it has also happened to multiple movie cars, sets, and props. The police boat is there in its place now.
I’m old enough to say I was on the tram tour when they had the rolling ice cave. Also one of the times they were filming The Hardy Boys TV Show and little 7yr old me didn’t understand why my parents wouldn’t let me stay on my own to wait to meet Shaun Cassidy!!! I was mad about that for years!!!🤣🤣🤣🤣 Peter, the look on your face when you tried on the smaller shirt was so adorable and filled me with joy for you. Keep going, you are doing fantastic!🧡🖤🧡
Congrats Peter on your weight loss!!! It's not easy, but your joy and excitement was so inspiring! Also Kitra's laugh when she was looking at Toad in his Karting outfit was so infectious ❤🤍❤🤍
HI! the video is very cute. And the park is always beautiful. I saw that the souvenirs of ET, BACK TO THE FUTURE, ETC. have returned. I really liked Woody Woodpecker's souvenir bus (in Italy it's called PICCHIARELLO), and I loved it as a child. Best regards😘
I had a chance to see the REAL Back to the Future Delorean at the Petersen Automotive Museum in LA few years back. We thought it was a replica but of the docents told us it was the actual movie car! Very cool. I’m not sure where it is now, maybe they keep it in storage there. They have quite the extensive movie car collection if you guys ever get the chance to visit LA it’s a great place to go, not a theme park but work checking out if you’re into cars.
It's still at the Petersen. It used to be displayed right in the middle of the now nonexistent NBC/Universal Experience, a small indoor exhibit dedicated to displaying props and costumes from Universal Pictures history. The exhibit was right next to Panda Express, or right across from the Transformers ride's gift shop.
I remember being there for the first day of the 60th anniversary tour (I think it was the first ride even)…it’s nice to see how much they added and improved it (although I did enjoy the tour when I went)… and being there for Peter on his weight loss journey every step of the way- IM SO HAPPY FOR YOU AND LOVING THE XL SPIRIT JERSEY!!! 🥰
I remember riding the original Glamor Tram in both 1980 & 1985 as a kid. It's incredible at how much it's changed but it's crazy at the stuff I do miss...like going in the Battlestar Galactica ship, the swirling ice tunnel, & the collapsing bridge. Keep up the amazing videos. Always love watching your guys fun!
This was super fun. I really feel like Universal is doing so much better but wish they would sometimes realize how cool some of their properties are. Completely agree with Peter about Doc Brown. Like its kind of crazy that they aren't leaning harder into Back to the Future!! Also, can we get them to bring Kolchak the night stalker to the park!! lol
My youth at Universal ! Love seeing the shark photo op out again. I still have picture of me with it. Maybe I was 11 or 12? Thank you for showing all you do!
I was there beginning of June. I wish I saw the Harry Potter ice cream place, but we did the Harry Potter area last and i was super super tired from walking all day. But def ate at the Nintendo mario restaraunt, and the 1 up cafe
I need that Back to the Future ride shirt! So happy for all your weight loss success!!! You are on 🔥 Peter!!! Love that feeling when you go down a size!
Congratulations on your journey Peter, keep it up and off!. I remember the ice cave from the studio tour as well as seeing it on episodes of the Six Million Dollar Man,
Im glad to see love for Woody Woodpecker.......with the launch of MeTV toons they are showing Woody and his friends on their everyday....brining him to new generations
Was just there. It was hot. Got the Cosmic Pop and the cashier put the Pop Rocks in there for me, saying “pop” every time she dropped some in and it popped lol. Also got the Chilly Willy funnel cake and it was… a lot. I was DONE for the day. Thanks again for these videos, really helps me plan things out before I do this stuff.
That was a great tour of what's going on for the 60th. Luckily enough I'm going for the VIP tour on the 26th. Thanks so much for showing me some things to look forward to .
Aw yeah! The 60th Tram Tour anniversary looks amazing! The merch, woody woodpecker, the trams! But I think by the time I go in October, all that will no longer be there :(
Hoping to get to Universal this year. Will be too late for the 60th though. The last time I was there, Jaws was still hanging up, ET the ride was newish. No transformers either. I have pictures of me leaning on the delorean (It was super hot) I was able to sit in K.I.T.T., the tram tour had the old battle star galactica, and see the giant King Kong shake the tram. There was even a spot where I got to "lift" the A Team van. I really hope I enjoy all the new things the park has become since I went forever ago :D
The first time I went to the US from the UK was in 1971, staying with a friend who had emigrated to LA. Because of her 'connections' at the time, we got free admission, and even got to eat at the commisary, where only people who were working on the 'lots' went to eat. Saw a lot of famous faces! Yes, we did the back lot tour, and went through the infamous 'ice tunnel.' What a nightmare! Fell for the 'schtick' the tram guy was giving us, then it all started! So disorientating, I had to close my eyes. Traumatised for life! You definitely wouldn't have enjoyed it.
24:53 Ah yes Peter, it is quite cold XD I love your videos so much. I'm a college student rn so I can't travel much, so your videos really make me feel included to all of your outings and all the fun events and experiences going on right now!! Love you both
The Earthquake section was better when they treated it like a real subway station rather than a film set. The prop stop used to have Norman Bates come out with the mannequin body and put it in the trunk of the car, but I think some parents complained about that since visitors were a little too close to the action. Still haven't seen the new Jurassic Park section yet and I've been on the tram twice since the 60th Anniversary started.
You guys were little little kids when ET came out while I was in middle school lol - I still have my ET from UofO from 1999 of 2000 - he sits in my bookshelf in my office - I’ll be working on my CZcams channel soon - NOW Peter very proud of your weight loss - I myself was a 2X and now have stayed an 8/10 for like almost 7 years now! Go ahead on!
Hi! Well, I’m just finally watching this video today and I had to comment. I’m so excited for Peter that he’s lost 55 pounds. That’s amazing and i’m just happy to see him so excited that’s just so awesome. Great job and like always great video Kitra and Peter.💜
So cool to see you here during this time! I’m one of the actors playing the Deputy in Six Points Town. The Sheriff and I are on the lookout for the Prickly Pear Twins, who are plotting to heist a tram. Every thirty minutes guests can interact with either the law or the bandits, draw Wanted posters to go on display, take a photo in the jail, and lots of other great activities. Come say howdy!
@@OrdinaryAdventures I see the Prickly Pear Twins out there in some of your footage. They might have been in heat sets that day and only performed twenty minute sets instead of thirty. Regardless, from 12:45 to 8:45, there will be fun opportunities to interact. Also, Scuba George is out there every thirty minutes after 2pm. Glad you had a fun time!
July of 1964 was a Good month for Southern California attractions since Sea World down by me in San Diego ALSO just celebrated their 60th earlier this month!….Oh, and I was ALSO there during the April 27th Fall Guy pre-show when Ryan Gosling/David Leitch appeared! Wish I knew you were there! Would’ve loved to meet you guys in person! We were only about five or six rows in front of where you were filming from, in the wheelchair seating (my wife’s in a wheelchair)
Thanks so much! I’m on doctor supervised medication (zepbound) but that’s just helping suppress my appetite. The real answer is very large calorie restriction diet with heavy focus on protein and a lot of exercise (for example I have been walking everyday 3 miles to get lunch). I’m basically a just eating a chipotle bowl with double protein for most days. I’ve also stopped drinking any soda except when we are out of the house. All water at home.
14:18 THAT. WAS. AWESOME!!! I love this! I’m a GenX’er and as soon as I saw the previews for “The Fall Guy” I marked it on my calendar. I can’t believe that there are so many ppl that didn’t even know they made the movie. They didn’t do a very good job with promoting it, if you ask me. It was fantastic and an excellent tribute to the original tv show, it’s different enough to make it new and not so different that you forget about the show all together. I really wish more ppl knew that the movie was as good as it is and more GenX’ers were aware of it having been released. Thank you so much for sharing this live show with the fans of the original show and now, the movie. 😊❤ P.S. the mistake that the studios made with the PR was not tying the movie to the original television show. When I saw the preview for the movie for the first time I actually googled it to see if it was based on the television show. After seeing that it was an original story based on the same stunt guy that the show was based on… it made me want to see it even more. I can’t believe the studio didn’t use the GenX, Pop culture route to promote the movie at all. They really dropped the ball. Once again, my generation being the “forgotten” generation has bitten the PR execs in their collective rears. 😂😂😂
@@OrdinaryAdventures seriously?? Dang it. 🥺 The one time I didn’t stick around for the credits to roll. Typical 😆 I dunno, seeing that it was loosely based on the same plot line as the show is what made the difference to me actually going to the cinema and waiting for it to be released for streaming online. But, again that’s because the show was popular amongst GenX’ers. I think it would have helped by targeting the audience who grew up watching The Fall Guy. As far as the rest of the populace, you’re are probably correct, it wouldn’t have helped. Most of the demographic; people who actually spend money on going to the cinema, wouldn’t even know there was a tv show in the first place. 😊
The genuine excitement when Peter fit into a XL is motivation for me to start losing pounds 🤝

CONGRATS on the weight loss Peter! You can really see the difference and it's a tremendous accomplishment!

How did you lose the weight? Congratulations to losing the weight.
LOL. That Megatron...he was so good with that interaction...he defo knows who you guys are and loves watching himself on your channel !
😂 he’s always so funny
The Fall Guy special appearance was so neat!! Love that we are getting a movie telling the story of stunt work!
Agreed! Hopefully stunt work will get more appreciation in the future and maybe even its own Oscar.
I just wish the movie had a little better script…it was more like the quality of the director’s HOBBS AND SHAW movie than Deadpool or Bullet Train…
I was rolling on the floor when Peter had to do all of those takes for the ice cream intro!
Haha it was so hot outside
Megatron telling y'all he wasn't going to smash "like!"😂😂😂😂 Terrific vlog as always!!❤

Yeah the New York neighbors are great and have clearly kept up with our adventures

Hi! Well, I’m just finally watching this video today and I had to comment. I’m so excited for Peter that he’s lost 55 pounds. That’s amazing and i’m just happy to see him so excited that’s just so awesome. Great job and like always great video Kitra and Peter.💜
Thank you 😊
As a collector of diecast, that ride vehicle model got me very excited!
It’s cool
This makes me want to visit Universal!
Peter you are looking great! 👏🏻👏🏻
Thanks Andrew
It's awesome to see you so proud, Peter! You are both a joy as always!
Thanks again!
I guess we are that close to the Incredicoaster too. That ice cream looks soooo good!
Good point
So cool to see you here during this time! I’m one of the actors playing the Deputy in Six Points Town. The Sheriff and I are on the lookout for the Prickly Pear Twins, who are plotting to heist a tram. Every thirty minutes guests can interact with either the law or the bandits, draw Wanted posters to go on display, take a photo in the jail, and lots of other great activities. Come say howdy!
Oh we didn’t see any actors out when we were there
@@OrdinaryAdventures I see the Prickly Pear Twins out there in some of your footage. They might have been in heat sets that day and only performed twenty minute sets instead of thirty. Regardless, from 12:45 to 8:45, there will be fun opportunities to interact. Also, Scuba George is out there every thirty minutes after 2pm.
Glad you had a fun time!
I come on youtube just to watch yall exciting vlogs 😁😁😄 they give me soo much joy to watch each discovery and adventure yall go on ,huge fan 💕!!
😃 thank you so much
I’m dying laughing at you loving the toad plushies 😂 and now I need one 😂
Haha
July of 1964 was a Good month for Southern California attractions since Sea World down by me in San Diego ALSO just celebrated their 60th earlier this month!….Oh, and I was ALSO there during the April 27th Fall Guy pre-show when Ryan Gosling/David Leitch appeared! Wish I knew you were there! Would’ve loved to meet you guys in person! We were only about five or six rows in front of where you were filming from, in the wheelchair seating (my wife’s in a wheelchair)
Didn’t realize sea world was that old
55lbs congratulations, that’s so awesome Peter. You can totally see it. You look amazing! Whats the trick?
P.S. the mistake that the studios made with the PR was not tying the movie to the original television show. 😂😂😂
I’m not sure tying it to the original tv show would have helped but they did have an end credits scene cameo
@@OrdinaryAdventures seriously?? Dang it. 🥺 The one time I didn’t stick around for the credits to roll. Typical 😆
I dunno, seeing that it was loosely based on the same plot line as the show is what made the difference to me actually going to the cinema and waiting for it to be released for streaming online.
