Repiping copper pipe under the floor!

  • In this plumbing asmr video I’m moving the pipework to under the floors and cutting out the old pipes for the new bathroom!
    Taking out as much plastic pipes and replacing with copper will provide longer life and hassle free for the customer.
    Notching the floors for the pipes only above and insulating with hairs felt to reduce noise when system
    Is running.
    Pressfit was chosen for speed and cleaner system without introducing too much flux etc into the system. I had to solder one pipe as I didn’t have enough to press onto!
    Enjoy the video, sit back, like and subscribe if you are new and I will see you on the next video!

    Doing our house renovation, I cleaned up the labyrinth of pipes in our boiler cupboard. The room was once a kitchen, but then became a lobby containing the boiler. The people who did the modifications before we bought the house just cut and blanked off old pipes and tacked new ones on. The cold water feed to the upstairs did a complete loop on its journey up!

    Very nice work. Come from a city where we sweat primarily. In plumbing circles starting to here more on press failures. Don't know if it's tool use or o-rings. More and more use of compression is making its way regardless. Any thoughts?

    Good job. Just a question i bought a monument pipe bender on the instructions it says your mark should be at the pivot point on the bender but your marks are behind it and you make a perfect bend pls what’s your advice about bending position thanks on the monument benders

    • @mmplumber
      @mmplumber  Před 4 měsíci +1

      If you mark the pipe on where you want to start the bend then it’s at the start of the former. Watch couple of my bending videos mate might get a better idea

    • @jujjuj7676
      @jujjuj7676 Před 3 měsíci +1

      Pex also leaks chems in ur water...but if ur cool with kids having two heads go for it, copper is much safer..pex leaks serious methyl tertiary-butyl ether (MTBE) and tert-Butyl alcohol can leach from PEX in amounts that exceed taste, odor and health guidelines FYI also keep in mind brands of pex leak more but they ALL leak it ... But being that you don't research shit nor basic education and just go with the flow, have fun with those medical bills..😊
