Honda tend to do this, with bikes in their range, that are not selling well.
My local Honda dealer did something similar, with the CB1100RS. He couldn’t get rid rid of them for love nor money
manifesting and working hard towards getting one of these 🙏🏽

A great bike and proof that you really don't need a brown quilted seat, knobbly tyres and a headlight grill these days. It's 2021, not 2010, there're modern bikes out there with the right level of capability, performance, excitement and aesthetics, as this proves

The XSR 900 is way more exciting to ride I own one but I've also test ridden the Honda .

Just my opinion, but that second gen headlight made the front of the bike look less attractive, the full circular ring is the better design on the 18 and 19 model

I am the biggest fanboy of Honda, great bikes just not tuned for peak hp. Here recently though I been super disappointed in them. During the height of the pandemic my ex lost her job and I had to quit mine and move home so I could help here with the kids more. It took me like 3 months to find a job but I did find one. However during that process I got behind a couple months on my motorcycle payment and when I finally had the money to pay it back up, they refused and instead wanted to repo my bike. (Honda financial). I was pretty pissed, especially considering I had like over half of it payed off so they weren’t even really at risk of losing money. They just wanted to screw me over.
Anyways long time Honda fan but never again. I used to be the biggest fan literally. I always tried to get people to get Honda’s instead of their other bikes. I memorized the specs for basically every Honda ever made. Now I really don’t like them. They screwed me over bad and it was my dream to one day have enough money to own a bike.
The part that pissed me off is I had the cash like 1500 to pay the balance up and i would have only owed like 1000 bucks on it. They choose to screw me so they could charge a bunch of fees and stuff and not even pay me the difference after auction. They had the nerve to send me a letter telling me I still owe them like 1000 bucks after they basically run robbed and scammed me.
Never again will I do business with them or say a good thing about their bikes. To hell with them.
Also the bike burned oil like a quart every 500 miles, and wouldn’t wheelie in anything but first gear. Seriously a slow bike even for a honda.
Don’t do business with Honda! You will regret it if you ever have a life event that forces you out of work for a few weeks or months. I had no choice as the country was going f’in crazy and locked us down. They didn’t have to take advantage of me like that when I was down. I will never respect them again.

Both versions of the CMX Rebel are a 100% better than the stock one, which just looks like a butt ugly version of a Yamaha Bolt.

Sorry but I really do not like the HONDA CB1000 R the new Hondas are Ugly and have a Weird unbalanced design. That is why it needs these stunning custom jobs. I am an Old Biker to Me Honda sends their customers to Triumph, Kawasaki Z900rs and even RE. And I was a Big Honda Fan once.. That is why it Needs skillful Professionals to modify them, the source Material is unattractive.

@@motobob Sometimes one has to bite the bullet if you want certain info, I guess ;-) Check out Steve Hammes car reviews on CZcams, you're like the British version of him. His narration style is totally OTT as well, but sometimes he does live AMAs, and he talks totally normal during those, it's hilarious.
