I just now ran into this video...all such good information, thank you! I really don't like to work with double stuffed balloons, only because they're not fun to inflate, but if I do, my favorite are the crystal balloons with chrome silver or gold inside. First of all can I just say you are so bubbly (as stated in your business name) and it seems genuine so thank you for that! Second I am trying to make high impact centerpieces, so have you done balloon table runners? And if so can you list a video of it please!? Thanks so much.
Awwww thank you Janine! I appreciate that! I am sorry to say I haven’t done balloon table runners before but they are sort of like mini garlands, I would basically attach quads or clusters of 8, and intertwine some greenery through. Check out videos 1&2 from the balloon garland basics series on inflating and putting together clusters, and I’d play with that! I would inflate them small-ish to start with (unless the table is huge), or even use 5, 7 & 9 inch balloons instead of 11/12.

I am having trouble finding blush balloons in several different sizes. What do you suggest to double stuff to get a “blush” color?
Oh man, that's a popular shade! Qualatex + Kalisan are my favorite standard blush shades, but you can also double stuff peach or sand colors with ivory or even white and play with those to get one you like!

Hi, do you have issues with marks on the double stuffed balloons, making it look uneven?
Hi Arnesa! Meaning that dot at the top? Or streaking showing through? Or something else? On those issues I don't have them too often, sometimes the dot at the top, but it would've been there anyway. Fully inflating them when double stuffed seems to help eliminate other marks in my experience. : )

Hi TFS 😊How would you price double stuffed balloons?
Hi, good question! I have a video in the lineup on pricing specifically, but as a sneak peek, I would look at what other artists in your area/market are doing and what is sustainable. Obviously the materials are doubled when double stuffing, and it takes extra time as well. Usually I find that a 50-75% increase in price is warranted, depending on the complexity of the job and how much of it will be double stuffed.
If you were doing ALL double stuffed with chromes and jewel tones for instance, I would custom price that at much higher, as the materials are much more expensive and that's going to take a lot more work.
I'll go into more detail and share how I price in that video. Hope that helps!

Can you make a garland a day ahead of the event?
Hi Kathy, depends on the balloons you're using. Usually, yes! I always recommend testing them out ahead of time by inflating a few of the ones you'll be using as soon as possible to see how they age so you're certain.

Can you double stuff the same colors? Will that prevent the balloon nipples from being so obvious? That’s my big issue the “balloon nipple”
Hey Pam! You absolutely can stuff the same color and I do think it helps with the nipple, as the entire balloon looks thicker and that discrepancy isn't as visible. Try it out and let me know if it helped! I will be doing a video specifically on minimizing those spots before long...

If you ever see this ! What pump do you use? I have a hard time blowing up my double stuffed balloons.
Hey there! Double stuffed 5 inch balloons have to be pumped manually : ( but for double stuffed 11s + larger, the pump linked in the description here is my fave cheap one on the market! I hope to review some of the more expensive, professional quality ones before long and I'll have feedback on those then, but the tips on inflating in this video should help you too! Good luck : )
