I use balloon garlands from Amazon all the time and I never have no problems. Also I use the tape with the holes and it doesn't take that long.
I use Amazon kits also, although I don't like the strip. I had balloons last 7 months in my garage in MINNESOTA. Stay fully inflated. 😂😂😂
biggest problem is that what is displayed on the picture of the kit is not even close to what you will get :)
I've purchased ballons from Amazon... no problems with color.

You can use the balloons and use the tie method…you don’t have to use the glue dots OR the strip

Garland looks great! I’m new at this, I’m wondering why you double stuff the balloons? And do you double stuff the entire garland? Thank you for you tutorial.
For a more color
I see al lot of people double stuff all the balloons. Is this absolutely necessary? I will be having my venue outside and the theme is Positano so it will consist of a couple different blues and white (no pastel or matte colors) and will be adding some lemons to fill in. I was also thinking of doing the 3 different sizes you suggested. Also would large rubber bands work as well as the 260’s? Please advise so that I can make something that is pretty and sturdy without spending an outrageous amount of money crating something that only I will appreciate 😂
hi, you do not need to double stuff all of the balloons all the time. the reason we double stuff is to create a unique color, or if we are doing the setup that must be up for long time. note that client must pay for double stuffed balloons if they requesting unique color. on your second question. yes you can use the rubber bands, but we found that 260" has more stretching capacity so we like to use them better. you will do good with your event. :)

How long did the garlands last?
How long they last all depends on what elements they are exposed too . If its inside it would be weeks. Outside would all depend on temperature

pro balloons can stay up for couple of weeks inside, balloons from amazon will deflate much faster. some were deflated by the time we have finish filming )

An explanation of what ur doing would help
all of the details in the video :) we are testing balloon kit from amazon and also re-creating the garland using professional balloons
The difference really was in using the balloon strip vs using fishing wire (most likely) for the “professional” one. So it really has NOTHING to do with the balloons themselves, but the technique used to string them together. If you used the balloon strip for the non-Amazon balloon kit, the same exact thing would have happened. Don’t mislead people… it has NOTHING at all to do with using an Amazon kit.
Did you watch this video? For one she doesn't use fishing wire. Also, she highlights a number of issues with the Amazon kits such as the quality/colours of the balloons. She also says there is nothing wrong with using the kits- not sure where she is misleading people? If anything, the misleader is Amazon, using someone else's photo to advertise a kit that cannot be created using the supplies that arrive...
It has everything to do with the quality of balloons. This is the difference between a mediocre DIY garland to that of one using professional grade balloons. The tie method has NOTHING to do with the outcome.
She used a 260 balloon, not fishing wire although both are great methods. As you can see at the end of the video, she blew air at each of the garlands to show that the one she made with her own materials is much sturdier than the one from amazon. The one from amazon doesn't have as good quality as the other one she made, but like she said, it's okay to use if you just need to throw together some decorations last minute for an event. The price also reflects the quality. I've used amazon balloon kits and I've used professional balloons and trust me when I say that amazon does mislead with the pictures they show. S if you're ordering a kit off of amazon, you need to know that The colors will most likely be off and you may need two of the kits (but that's just if you want it to look more professional). And balloon strip vs fishing wire or 260 balloon is all just based on the preference of the person making the garland. However, if you're getting a kit off of amazon, I'd advise you to get fishing wire or 260 balloons as well just to tie the balloon garland to the stand because the balloon strip doesn't tie well. I hope this was helpful :)
As the title reads: the review is of the balloon KIT, so everything she received in the kit, including the balloons.. She is not just reviewing the quality of the balloons.. she is reviewing the whole kit vs how it’s advertised.. Also, at the end she also advised to NOT use the balloon strip from the Amazon kit, and just use the method she used on the left side

You didn't use the strip right the smaller hole is to loop the balloon tail back through. If you're going to give poor reviews you should use the product correctly
