I would give him a yes on that presentation alone, without the act. That's actually cool
I feel like every mentalist just does the same exact trick with different presentation. It's just a high-level version of "Is this your card?"
This is impressive using great technology. It’s all in his presentation, to make the magic appear spontaneous. He’s smooth and effortless in the delivery.
This act was a brilliant performance!!! To not come up with a partner-in-crime but to take someone else and the way he presented it was just stunning. Best Mentalist Show i seen so far. I get how it's done, besides how he got Terry to think of those 2 names? Upfront-Manipulation? Back-Stage Hypnosis?
I've got goosebumps 😍 this is amazing. I would give him a golden buzz but I'd rather watch all his acts until the final ❤️

As a magician I obv love magic acts and I'm biased but it's very unfair what AGT producers do for magicians. The pre-setups and camera cuts r so unfair to other contestants. No1 but a magician gets camera cuts like he did before and after the appearance of the hologram gimmick.
As a video editor I obv love cuts for story telling and I'm also biased BUT the cuts in AGT are HELLA annoying, no matter the act. They could do a split screen/videoframeinsert if they wanna show the reaction of the judges extensively. When Kevin was giving them the cards there were 13 cuts in 30 seconds, which is okay in a loaded scene were a lot is happening. But here the audience only wants to follow the trick and watch his hands/the magic. Shoji the kid magician had 4 cuts in 30 seconds..
It's not a camera cut gimmick. It's a hologram device. He has done it many times besides agt. Check in CZcams.

How did he do it?
testimony time : i was watching a mentalist on youtube and he told a judge to think of anything. I decided to also think of it to see if it would work. Initially i thought of a car, then last min decided on a tree. the mentalist Guessed a TREE !!! what??? how???? the person he chose also had chosen a tree. i was mind blown from the comfort of my sofa.
Something there in the setup gave u the suggestion. If u can remember which video go back n specifically look for any reference out there or subliminal..... Like .

See these predictive magic auditions just don’t do it for me anymore no matter how creative I always feel like it’s the trick every singe magician goes for and I’m tired of seeing it tbh.

@@futbolplayer913 I’m sure it was staged. It’s a TV show. Lol. I think after watching Penn and Teller reveal magic tricks and literally just seeing this same act in different ways I’m just like over it.
@@melaninandaura9713 Shin Lim was so refreshing, because it was talent and slight of hand. I hate how many two card flips make it past the first round. Like day 1 magic tricks with $1000 budgets

a very old TRICK! all he has done was add this bright electric show...nice but nothing new under the sun...so please dont get sucked in. if he could read minds our goverment would use him to read the minds of leaders..not a tv show! A.sucker born every minute is an old saying, but now a days with all of the high tech, is now said, A sucker born every second!
