Was looking at one of these in a shop & saw that the screen is very non-reflective (matte?) but still had good contrast & tonal range, esp compared to others in the same price range. In fact it seemed much better than any other non-reflective screen & looked good from angles.
Think I may well opt for this one.

Thanks for the review, can you confirm if the headset audio output socket is used does this cut off the TV's internal speakers? And if so then does the output vary when using the remote control Vol+ & Vol- controls

I laid it face down on my double bed with the bottom slightly overhanging and attached the stand first time with no problems. Would have been a pain attaching it the right way up with two people moving independently from one another as suggested in the video.
That’s the best way to do it, I usually have the knack for making stuff look harder than it is. 🙃

Does the fire os feature have the downloader similar to the firestick?

I bought the 43” model and am really impressed with it. Also, I don’t understand people complaining about the UI being laggy - I have an LG OLED TV and it’s about the same speed opening apps, and I think the Toshiba might actually be faster.
The picture quality for the price is amazing, I think. Once you put the picture mode into “Film” it’s great.
You’re welcome for the kind words. Everything has to be considered and as this cost significantly less than any other 65” there are certain compromises that will need to be made. Factoring in everything I think this is a great TV for the price.
4K content looks sharp and clear, although I’ve noticed not all 1080p content look great especially on Amazon Prime.
In terms of UI it’s perfectly usable however if people have experience with better OS then they might might some of the aspects a bit sluggish.
How do you change the picture settings im struggling with that

Great video, I was thinking about getting this tv as ive returned 2 lg tvs due to ghosting after trail on objects in certain scenes and games with certain lighting so I just wanted to see how this tv is with ghosting and after image trailing as I would hate to get this tv and have to return it due to ghosting trail like the 2 previous ones 👍🏻 btw the lg tvs models that had to be returned due to this are the 43uq75006lf and the 43uq8000lb
Ended up just getting the samsung UE43CU7100 so lets see how this is with ghosting

Thanks for the tip about the threaded screws, wouldn't have known otherwise. I found the stand quite easy to put on, the back of the TV almost has a slot that you need to put the stand part in, like putting a battery in a phone kind of thing, when it's in and aligned the screws go in pretty easily. I bought the 65 inch, now have to work out how to lift it into position on my own without touching the screen 😅
You’re welcome, I found it quite hard putting the bracket on but once on it’s a sturdy stand. I would definitely recommend a helping hand you don’t want any mishaps lol.

I have just bought this tv but the 55inch same model and the hdmi wont connect my ps5 tried hdmi 123 and no luck and i carnt get my tv channels to work they are ther but the screen goes black when clicking on any channel really hard tv to use

Amazon are offering this with either LED or QLED for a bit more, would it be better to buy the QLED? I'm not sure what difference it would bring but for £70 more would it be worth it? Many thanks

I have this TV and honestly the base settings are pretty good. I'd turn off any post processing. Set your backlight to 100. Knock the colour down to around 60 and turn the sharpness down to about 5.
does the firestick side of things work the same as a normal firestick , can you get downloader on it and get iptv ect?
Yes you can.
I would recommend putting the tele face flat on something soft like a bed or a couch and then put the stand on that way that's how I done it without needing 3 people 😂😂

I was looking at another Toshiba model, C350 65 inch and they said they could not find settings for motion so it may have the soap opera effect. Do you know if this tv suffers from this as well?

Hello, I have just bought a Toshiba 43" which has the same stand as yours but I have difficulties in changing channels and feel that the front of the stand interfers with the connection between the light and the remote control or maybe its the remote not working properly?

My TV doesn’t have this problem however after a few months of use I did need to replace the remote control.

Hello, I will let you know over the weekend
Some things to be aware of....
1. 350 Nits does not an HDR TV make, even in a darkened room
2. You cannot switch off HDR on this set unless you use an external device that has that capability (NVidia Shield, Amazon Firestick 4K etc). So the built in fire tv stuff will be useless to you if you want SDR instead of HDR where it's offered.
3. The power cord is junk. It's a figure of 8 lead that just wants to fall straight back out of the socket.
4. A lot of the 4k content on youtube is shot at 60fps. This TV is 50Hz.
5. The settings restore themselves! Yes, you thought you'd switched off sharpening? Hah! Not for long...
6. The box it comes in is unlike other big tv boxes. It DOES NOT just lift off giving access...
7. You cannot alter the picture settings of a source that is inactive.
8. There is NO INPUT selection on the remote. This WILL drive you nuts.
What? And how do i Chance the inputsignal, when i want to Chance from gaming, to normal tv etc? 😮

When you're watching something hold down the home button,go down to picture setting and you will be able to change pretty much everything,I recommend turning the sharpness down,motion processing off and noise reduction off,hope this helps
Does this TV have a motion smoothing feature like most other Toshiba tvs?

what is this like for PS5 use? I have read online some comments it is not great for next gen consoles as it wont go past 60Hz and only plays at 1080p
I am a casual gamer and occasionally use the PS5 on this TV. The quality is good however please be warned this TV does not support 2.1HDMI even though all retailers state it does. The refresh rate is limited to 60Hz

I would love to review more under £500 TVs brother but the budget doesn’t allow I am afraid. Hopefully soon I will get the opportunity to do more reviews of TVs within that price range.
what button is the source button to change to different HDMI to watch different device your DVD player or sky box ?
You have to do it through the menu interface, no dedicated button as such.

There is no dedicated button for input switching on the remote unfortunately.
You can long press on the home button and it brings up a shortcut to change inputs.
Can you speak to the TV to change the input with voice control?

You should be able to get most of the apps, but Android TV is usually more sophisticated.
My ps5 looks terrible on it its all pixilated do you have any tips i picked this tv up last weekend
Check the display output settings on the PS5, also try changing the HDMI cable
@@KhaledsTech its the hdmi cable that came with the ps5 though did you change any settings on your ps5 am not even joking it is so bad
So update the only way i can get a clear picture on ps5 with this tv is to change it to 1080p madness

This is listed as hdmi 2.1 everywhere its for sale. I have even asked several representatives from different outlets. How can this be hdmi 2.1 but doesnt do 120hz for ps5 . Makes no sense
This TV does not support HDMI 2.1 as the max refresh rate is 60hz. This needs to be rectified as it’s misleading.
