Zurdo will sit on the belt until he gets a big pay day. Ben Shalom will not allow his fighters to fight off SKY Sports. This division has been mostly comatose since the WBSS season one.
Jai is a front runner whom I suspected has no inside game. He is doing nothing to prove me wrong. I predicted him to beat Briedis in 2022, but I am surprised at how little he has developed since then. The many, many calls for him being a generational Usyk-esque talent is looking grim imo. He will struggle with Zurdo imo. I think Zurdo has a chance to be a unified champion for sure. He doesn't slow in the championship rounds. Jai runs out of steam alarmingly quickly, and the pace wasn't high in the second Briedis fight.
