Who had your favorite physique in the 90s? 💎💎💎 Probably the best lineup ever.
Always the king of Olympia Ronnie Coleman
Lee Priest
Kevin Levrone was and still is my favorite! Flex looked awesome too
King coleman
Gunter Schlierkamp, Achim Albrecht, Andreas Munzer, Milos Sarcev, Mike Matarazzo, Gary Strydom ...
These guys had something different from what we have today, pure beauty, inspiration and motivation.
It is called mass with class. Before insulin guts baby!!!
Keep working, young one.
@@fitlifestylebiggainz thanks mate
Amazing physiques backed by good lighting
They had love of the sport, with no regrets on how it effected their body afterwords, true lions!!! These guys today are scared to go that hard and heavy cuz they don’t want to get hurt or be in pain after retirement, in my opinion that’s leaving something on the table, when you are done with your career you should have zero regrets and I think some of theee guys now will, like Ronnie said only regret he had in life was not doing 800 for 4 reps, and look at him now, and his condition, that is a true lion!!!!
The 90s....The Best Era and the Peak of Bodybuilding in terms of Mass and Conditioning
So many legends in one video…R.I.P those who depart.
The best era ever...ever...ever.....Ronnie, Kevin, Dorian, Markus, Shawn, Paul, Nasser, Flex..GOATS❤️
I miss those days when athletes were gentlemen and had class to show up at the press conference in a suit...
Their suits looked horrible. It's pretty hard to make a fitted suit on the hulk.
@@johnnylongshlong3677 not really, tailors exist for a reason.
@@nathantaylor4390 - they did use tailors, their suits looked like bags of sh*t.
@KauaiPoundahs - your breaths wrong.
@@johnnylongshlong3677 Well suits are being made for sizes that people far beyond what you typically buy so its not the norm.
The 90s had one of the meanest lineups ever 💯 super tough competition.
90's without a doubt the best decade in bodybuilding.
90s to early 00s the greatest era ever for body building
Any of those gentle men in the video can easily beat today's lineup
Any of them could've been a Mr Olympia, it was just a group of Mr Olympias competing against each other
The competition back in those days was staggering. Anyone who qualified for Mr. O could have been Mr. O.
The difference between first and last place was not much. Today, the whole sport is dominated by several guys who win everything over, and over, and over... The difference between first and fifth is huge, much less the guys who place near the bottom.
There are no bodybuilders today like the ones from the 90’s!!!!’👍🏻
And maybe Cedric McMillan if he can get his conditioning correct
Sad to see that both of them passed away...@@ajpitts1
@@amerbrcaninovic1832 yh..sad
I love seeing Mike Matarazzo again. He was a great performer on stage. I miss seeing him. God bless you Mike.
He died in 2014
@@vdveenusa R.i.P. did not know
Whoever's reading this, may God bless you!
Chris the real deal cormier needs a solo 8min video! Strongest and most underrated bodybuilder of the 90s.
he's not the strongest and is he really underrated if he only had a handful of good showings? His only good showing at the Mr. O in the 90s was 1999, at the end of the decade. Apart from that one time name any other time he showed up and brought something worth mentioning for him to be considered "underrated".
@@dj_m1999 you dont know jack shit about bodybuilding! He has benched 200lb dumbbell presses, 500lb incline press, also rowed 495 rows, second thing, competed in arnold classic half a dozen times but took multiple second places, winner of iron man multiple times, chris was a party freak never took his training and career seriously, so if you dont know anything shutup already.
@@dj_m1999 can you translate that last part into English please?
@@rawintensity8141 so was Kevin Levrone. So was Ronnie Coleman, so was Yates with 10x better form. Cormier didn't even so full motion, he did partial reps
Hey guys, my underrated favorite is Charles Clairmonte
It is the one and only best motivation channel I have ever seen in CZcams, I promise
Thanks man, more coming ✊
@@NicandroVisionMotivation same here bro keep motivating us❤️❤️

90s the best era of bodybuilding ❤️❤️
Because those guys lived for the sport. You have guys today who know their weaknesses and don't even try to fix it. They can't nail conditioning, their abs are garbage yet they don't address it in the off season. It like all they have in their head is Big Big Big Big, and conditioning is an after thought.
@@KNByam 👍👍💯
no, 80s
If you discount the corrupt judges in the 90s a strong argument could be made for the first half of the decade but overall I'm going to have to give it to the 80s
The 90s was the real Golden Era of Bodybuilding
Personally i think golden age is perfect with arnie time but this is definitely the next most perfect thing
70s was this bubble belly is ugly
@@sandornagy3484 both are good lol but the 90s had many more top tier competitors. The entire Linup on nearly any show would have the best of the best physiques and genetics. Also the. 90s had many different looks, they had mass monsters like Yates or Nasser, Aesthetic guys like Flex or Shawn, and guys who combined the two size and aesthetics like Chris Cormier or Levrone
@@januszcebula1 what belly I don't see one
@@iambodybuildingyt221 yea agree they were way more top tier but also things have progressed quite a bit more to improve thier physical ability compared to older generations
By far the best of the best era in bodybuilding history. All the competitors were good regardless. That era, they encouraged, they inspired, they respected each other and they raised the bar further bringing about the best in each other in a good way.
DORIAN "THE GOD" YATES, KEVIN LEVRONE, FLEX "THE SULTAN" WHEELER, GUNTER SCHLIERKAMP....Long story short.. GOOSEBUMPS.. Thank you nicandro vision for the tribute.
Legendary lineup
THIS IS REAL BODYBUILDING AS AN ART FORM, NO BUBBLE HGH GUTS!!!!!!! ANYONE OF THESE MEN COULD BE MR OLYMPIA IN 2021!!!!!!
I loved the 90s. The Bodybuilders had Size and Symmetry like we have never seen before. But the bodybuilders of the 90s also had character and some were characters and some had both. This made bodybuilding fun to watch on a yearly basis.
The 90s era was the masterclass of physiques.....they gave me the iron virus n I still feel awe struck but motivated to push myself hard like they did to achieve the ultimate manifestation of themselves in their minds.....
The best collage of 90s bodybuilders! They were all genetic marvels with symmetric perfection! The winner would be the man who's body would aligned perfectly in that day beating the others! Other videos mention how critical that day is for all aspects of the bodybuilders mass to crescendo into perfection. I've always liked Flex Wheeler, Kevin Lavrone, Markus Ruhl, Gunter Schlierkamp and even Paul Dillet.
They could easily stand among todays bodybuilders... Amazing physiques!!!
Wow !! No comparison to today absolute monsters back then maximum respect to all these guys
It was an honor to look at them and exercise each and every day. They were inspirational.
Dorian Yates lat spread was damn near untouchable
While I've lost interest in bodybuilding long ago, these guys are inspiration to me. Same applies to MMA
Now I see why Dorian yates is so Great and a legend.
He simply outworked everybody. We had Levrone, Ray, Wheeler, Nasser, Dillet, Cormier....., My God, what a line up.
Yep! Beating all of them in their prime
Fantastic shapes, great warriors of their time, signs of what true work can leads to
Dannggg! Lee Priest Arm is One of a kind! And Shawn Ray side triceps is how you would love to see it!
czcams.com/video/TBa8MMishbA/video.html
5:56 what a fucking insane Mantis pose. Literally exclaimed "Wow" outloud. Gunther was something else.
Looks unreal.
I agree, Gunther was unreal. Never got why he didn't do better at Olympias.
Not only an amazing body but he was actually a fairly good looking dude compared to some of the other guys... Looks kind of like Brad Pitt
@@TheBaBaTV sorry bro, not my fault he was a beautiful man.
Don't worry I was born ugly too
Flex was by far one of the most perfect physical specimens to ever step on stage .
I don't understand what lacks today's generation bodybuilders. Why don't they get this kind of beauty and charisma.
Regarding Charisma it is like the rest of today´s society. Nobody says what he thinks anymore. Too much political correctness, so people in public are all the same.
Beauty...well there ARE beautiful bodybuilders also today, but the judging is the problem. If you let the biggest freaks win, somebody with great lines and symmetrie might not even try to compete. Back then these guys knew that they could go very far with their great shape and just enough mass.
What they lack is your feeling nostalgic about them
Food
@@craprandomvideos8481 I disagree that it’s nostalgia. I was born in 96. Saw Zyzz as a teen, got inspired to lift and learned about bodybuilding.
Couldn’t understand why most of them looked like total dogshit to me. Quickly started learning about bodybuilders from the past and the 90’s guys stuck out like a sore thumb.
They looked so insanely good to me, most seemed to have this charisma that made them all feel like movie stars. Their physiques just looked next level.
I’m still not positive on the exact reason why, but there’s no doubt to me they were superior as a regular gym bro.
You can watch some of the Olympias from the 90s and literally not be able to decide the Top 5. There was so much depth in the talent on stage in the 90s!!!
These guys are the best !!! I want to see them all on stage 😭
Bodybuilder from the 90s had Size/Quality and Symmetry...now days "They look ok"
czcams.com/video/TBa8MMishbA/video.html
@@younesbydi9153 Arnold was great in 70's but 90's guys were better. Training, nutrition, drugs, at that level, were something never heard of until then. Now if Arnold was young enough to compete in the 90's, WOW, then you would have seen the most unbelievable physique ever. Genetically Arnold was a gift from God.
@@UltimatePrime15 He’s not that special....
Wtf are you talking about. Big Rami's legs in 2020 are most probably the best legs in the history of the sport. Branch Warren's legs are the only competitors that I see but Rami's definitely got more size and definition than Ronnie Coleman.
Phil Heath could definitely be able to compete and hold his own against those 90’s legends.
1:23 Truer words have never been spoken
This why they say the 90’s was just beautiful🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌
Хариплар
90s the best bodybuilding time ... they all legend and they have the best bodies.
Levrone had one of the sickest physique I've ever seen
Those guys keep me up for training every day for the last 5 6 years.....respect
Yes! This was it! I used to look forward to my monthly Muscle & Fitness/Hers, Flex, Muscular Development and other fitness magazines! Talk about inspiration and motivation!!! Thanks for this video!
5:56 damn, that lighting makes Gunther's bicep look like it was shopped
The 90s was definitely the Golden Age of Bodybuilding
I have been waiting for this...90s(The Era of Gladiators!), respect to the 80s and previous eras, but the 90s were just next level!
I'll never get tired of these. This era was the greatest of all!! 💪👊
So glad to have witnessed that era of competitions. Never see the likes of that again. To all the athletes. Thank you for a lifetime of inspiration.
Its the fact that there is so many of them. no other era has had so many top tier competitors.
It's great to see so many legends competing in the same era. Hope to have back something like this in the upcoming years 💪
Legendary lineup ⭐
Only 16k like because unfortunately youtube doesn't count people in who liked it twice, so i liked it three times. 💪💪💪

Great video. 90s was the best BB era...R.I.P. Mike Matarazzo.

Best motivation ever....really cool video....tough brotherhood
THE BEST!!!💪🏻👊🏻🙏🏻🦾🏋🏻🏆🥇💥💯❗️
Golden era, true hard workers
So glad I was a fan throughout and was there to see Ronnie win his first in NY
90 is the best for bodybuilding, and far superior to today. Flex Wheeler had one of the best bodies i have seen anywhere. He should of won the Olympia
yep! yep! yep!
In terms of physique difference with today’s bodybuilders, it comes down to proportion. Bodybuilders back in the days followed certain rules / criteria to sculpt a muscular men’s physique. They followed certain rules like muscle group to muscle group proportion, although it’s combined with size.
2 sports that will never again be as good as they were in the 90s...bodybuilding and college basketball!
This era inspires me so much
Insane vid bro! The quality is insane 🔥
🔥✊
Thanks for this video mate... u took me back at time when I started building body...
Lots of my fav... flex wheeler (should have been a numerous time mr o)
Kevin levrone should be a mr o like naseer , n shawn ray is best at time though I was fan of the shadow... I used to put all my energy n weight to have a back like him
Many more gems in this video.. thank you
Los 90 fue una era brutal💪🇨🇱😎
It was a great time to be alive.
Damn perfect
Hermoso video 100% motivación ✌💪🙏💚saludos desde colombia
What a great video! That era of the sport really did have the best overall collection of top pros IMO. Thanks for the motivation!
Class in the best form!!!!
Topp o melhor e dos melhores tempos os caras eram enormes e simetria não tinha pra ninguém
9:10 godfather charles glass ❤
Man the mid 70's ,80's,90's and most of 2000's was the best.the greatest of bodybuilders ever.they looked awesome not like today's
THE 90's BODYBUILDING ERA. The Mr Olympia had started “TOTALEE” Awesome. Then "BLOOD & GUTS" cast a SHADOW over the Olympia. Eclipsing all light of hope of anyone else touching a Sandow for nearly rest of the decade, and when the Shadow had finally lifted. Everything now had just become UNBELIEVABLE!………..yeah buddy!
Love your vids…..They're the best.
we need to bring back this look of perfection in the 250lbs bodybuilder instead of chasing the 300lbs bodybuilder without lines, bad condition and just brutal size
Absolutely spot on it seems like today's bodybuilders are obsessed with getting to 300lbs. Levrone, wheeler, ray where never 300lbs and they looked miles better than the guys do today.
@@drewdeca2992 exactly and the problem is that our body havent changed since the 1990s so to be able to achived that you have to use more shit that end it up with bad condition , belly extension , poor abs lines, arms and calves looks smaller and poor longevity in the sport
czcams.com/video/TBa8MMishbA/video.html
because guys today think 03 Ronnie is the standard....they would be better chasing the 98-99 250lb Ronnie instead...or 93 Dorian or 93 Wheeler
@@TheLusianPopa i feel you but that is stupid ronnie was 1 of a kind and even he couldnt keep that for a long run
