It's really amazing what they can do with nothing but a voice and a microphone.. You can see the effort they put in and that it's not just autotune and stuff. I mean this appears unedited and everything, so we're just left with their voices and stuff.. .. I just got the urge to ask for Mitch's vocal cords when he dies..
Their performance is great, but am I the only one to be annoyed by the balance? Ok, granted it's a TV show or something without any proper sound engineer, but on the whole it hampers the overall performance. :(

Again, still waiting for sound techs to learn how to balance mics correctly. I'd love to see a live performance of this song now, with correctly balanced mics and decent sound quality.
I find comfort in the fact that live, they don't sound perfect like they do when they do official music videos. It doesn't make me feel crappy when my Acapella group sings
Damn, Kirstie always does great in her solo bits for this song but she really KILLED it this performace. And love her expressive her face always is when singing.
They balance so well naturally they should have just used a couple of condenser mics and foregone the handhelds all together...this was like kirstie and the pips. poor mitch, he sounds so awesome on this and it's like wasn't even there!

Not to mention this is more of a "studio" than "live" performance, and they had tons of time to do editing, instead of making them look like crap.

He also has to know who sings when, because depending on it's a singed verse or just "music" done with the voice, the output don't need the same level...
they totally need to adjust the mics. They always turn scott and kristie up but they cant do that cause they're voices are already naturally stronger then mitch's. you can'teven catch any of avi's bass and thats another key component to this song. we want to hear mitch!!!

Very nice for a small group. You tenor was fantastic and the rest of you blended in very well. I think this is hard to pull off, but you did a surprizingly good job. My only recommendation (appearance related only): ditch the hat!
1 the sound tech (for the recording) needs to be shot the Mics are not equalized properly.. 2 most pc speakers systems aren't set for this type of music.. go into your config and add vocal filters to listen to it as the best sound performance. Try different filters your results and filters may very
