@@somecallmejames You are absolutely crazy. The His 'N' Hers version is one of the most disappointing things Pulp ever recorded. The song had so much potential but Ed Bueller fucked it by smoothing all the edges, producing the limpest version of the song possible. It also doesn't help that Jarvis sounds bored as fuck. This Peel Sessions version has all the drama and intensity the song always deserved, and remains one of my favourite recordings ever. I almost never listen to the album version, despite His 'N' Hers being my favourite Pulp album.
