I have been trying and trying to set up the sonic pad to the SV06 and am about to give up. I flashed the printer but keep getting errors on the sonic pad. Seems to be issues with the config. I get this error. " Include file '/mnt/UDISK//printer_config/./osskc.cfg' does not exist" Any ideas?
Thanks for the config file that ACTUALLY works with the Sonic Pad! One issue I found is that the Y axis has a little too much travel when moving to the far extent of the hotbed travel, it rams into the back of the frame and the steppers grind for a second (almost like adjusting the Z carriage).. So that may need a little edit in the configuration file. But other than that. AWESOME and thank you!
Seems like you used the safe home position from the SV06, so it does not home in the center of the larger SV06 plus's print bed. You have this in your printer.cfg: [safe_z_home] home_xy_position: 85,135, should be something like 150,150 minus the sensor X offset and plus the Y offset (something like -28 + 20, or home_xy_position: 122,170. You want the probe over the center attachment bolt on the print bed. Also you have set a 10x10 bed mesh (100 points), this is perhaps too much, takes a long time to complete, and is a lot of work for the SonicPad to process during printing the first layers until layer fade is complete. I have good success with 7x7 bed mesh (49 points) [bed_mesh] probe_count = 7,7 instead of [bed_mesh] probe_count = 10
I have 2 Sovol SV06+ and they are both running on the Sonic Pad! Thank you for your work on this. The nozzle offset position is not in the center of the bed, you mentioned in your video you were going to update the firmware. Did you have a chance to do this yet? If you have the original files somewhere I can download I would be happy to try to adjust the position. Once again, Thank you for all your work connecting the SV06+ to the Pad! Lee
When attempting to load the print.config file the following occurs: "ERROR The printer is not ready. Klippy host software is attempting to connect". Any ideas? I plugged the USB cable from the printer into my computer and verified the USB port on the printer is functioning.
when i put the firmware on sd card and put on printer. the printer starts up normal. it doesnt stay on the sovol screen and gives me an error when going on the sonic pad. what can i do?

Could you please tell me where the 4th port is please ! As my creality Pad cannot find my port ! MCU cant find ! Klipper is searching etc etc And could you go over this again and make a video please , Ive reached out to creality and sovol ! Nothing !! And as you can see Im not alone with this problem .And please reply to this request as the companies that produce them dont get back to us . I live in hope .
heavily considering doing this since i already have my ender 3 s1 pro controlled by the sonic pad, but i wonder if the sv06+ with stock fan is strong enough to be zipping around like the ender.
In my experience this is not correct. The USB flash drive needs to be moved up a slot and the printer plugged into that slot and then reboot. It days say to plug the printer into port 4 but he does not do that in the video. Alo what a quick jimp into visual studio at 2:55, don't assume we are all experts. Other than that, very useful thanks.
One printer down the SV06 Plus is up and running thank you for the files. One question what settings did you choose for the chip when you compiled. It doesn't look like the GD32F103RET6 is in the list. Also some of the other options I'm not sure what to select if I were to compile it on the sonic pad.
I didn’t compile it via sonic pad, I used my klipper config from sv06 and modified it some, I forget the chip I selected but it’s the same as the ender 3 4.2.7 chip
@@chargedup6565 Thanks for the info it's working great. I haven't tested the runout sensor yet but I don't remember seeing it in the config so If it's not working I'll have to play around with that. Thanks again definitely made it painless to get the SV06 plus up on the pad. I just did my MK3S last night which was a lot more difficult.
@@Oliver1071 yeah I have heard filament sensors don’t like tpu much so I didn’t bother setting it up, but let me know if you figure it out and I’ll add it! I plan to put a standard sv06 screen on my plus to get nozzle temps ect on the printer screen still
An update. With my Sonic Pad issues. I flipped over to regular Klipper with kiauh and Xubuntu it was so easy. Repurposed an old laptop. No more MCU overload issues. And as a bonus unlimited webcams. I have 3 running now so I can have one on each printer. instead of one wide angle one. I can't believe Creality support just closed my tickets because I had a non creality printer and wouldn't help at all. What a$$holes. Not really much to change in the config either just the serial port and some includes.
Dang that’s upsetting, I’ve had no issues with 3 machines, I even bought another sonic pad used for $50 to run my other 3 machines, unlimited webcams would be sweet but I don’t have any old laptops sadly
@@chargedup6565 Nice not a bad deal at all. I wonder how many I could actually run not with this i5? It's not breaking a sweat with 2. And since it support a usb hub or hubs there doesn't seem to be a limit on the number of printers that you can run. I added the object exclude function yesterday. Hopefully the SP will get that added in. It's nice to be able to remove an object mid print if you see an issue with a plate full of parts.

@@michaelgaraphoto yep my plus is 100% stock, other then I use standard extruder + hotend so all my printers have the same spare parts. My standard sovols have upgraded parts cooling fans but they are usually at 20% or less because I mainly print petg

I'm trying to fix the same issue atm. Seems like the firmware isnt being loaded on, gonna see what I can do to resolve this
Plug it into the first USB port. That fixed it for me.

How much of a speed difference is there between sv06 with klipper vs sv07 ? Not the maximum speed, the average speeds.
So you already have SOVOL models in your SONIC PAD? where can i find them to install into my SONIC PAD?

Your printer.cfg edit was wrong (and you didn't specify what file you edited).

I would be looking at the 5015 cooling mod or maybe the duel 5015 mod. I love my SV06 Plus, its already really fast and have the sonic pad on order

Flash drive has to always be connected to usb #2 :) first tutorial video so definitely mistakes made!

Works not for me on my sv06 plus, i become "Move out of Range" Errors.
Do you have the m600 installed for the sovol?

How fast were you able to push this while maintaining high quality parts?
Depends on the material, pla 250mms easy then it gets a little loud for me.
