A tip I recommend is posting a short right before you start streaming, shorts can very easily go viral and if it does people will notice that you are live when seeing your pfp and will click on it.

I like to think of it as making a video without having to edit. Everyone should steam more, you get an hour of content for an hour of streaming, whereas normally it could take you 10 hours to edit a 15 minute video

My favorite thing about livestreaming on CZcams is your video gets published and shared like any other video some time after your stream is done. It’s even better when you treat the very beginning of the stream like it’s a video so it can be watched later on even when you’re not live.

I have a 4 year old live stream with 1.4k views even though its low quality abd basically no one was watching it live
Whoever is reading DONT give up on your channel. Think about all the hard work that you have already put in. Every youtuber was once in your spot they just kept going. Stay consistent and you will reach your goals. consistent uploads and improvement and some determination is all you need! I am going for 475 subs by the end of January!!!

How to live stream in Portrait mode in OBS ?
There is a vertical plugin on OBS but I do not know if YT supports portrait streams or not. You may have to change a few settings before going live. I'll get back to you on that when I do some digging

This works really well. Most of my streams have been getting 20 to 50 views after the fact and now I'm starting to get people in the stream during its countdown!

So basically on my channel me and my cousin go live, and we get tons of ppl in. Make sure to talk to them and read what they are saying give them attention, make them feel like they mean something. Also we put our live sub count on the stream so ppl see what our goal might be. Guys not even lying, we gained over 2.5k subs in less them 28 days. Pls try this, and good luck to any new creators out there!

As a new gaming channel, I've seen most of the "watch hours" come from the lives... I also created regular videos and shorts to compliment each one. The 3 types of vids combined work well.

After u go live and after the stream it downloads to a video. They video quality is terrible. It made my face look crooked. What video quality settings prevent this from happening

CZcams needs to figure out where my content goes cause live or long form, my subs are saying they aren’t getting notifications till days later if at all.
Build interactions with them. The algorithms will make that connection so try to manipulate SEO to your favor ask to like and comment.

Little late to reply, but if you haven’t figured it out yet, you can set a thumbnail via your YT studio settings for your stream either before you start your stream or any time during!

Any tips on downloading youtube live stream vods so I can edit them as I stream in 1080pat 60fps but when I download it later it looks 144p 😢 but the video on YT is still 1080 60fps
I notice:
1: if I do live stream here, I get less viewers on long/short form
2: On the other hand, If I don't stream my long/short video get more views
so, is it good to stream here or not?
