    I have installed Noico in my VW T5 transporter van. To fully cover the van, it took 4 boxes. Great stuff, great video. Thanks.

    Test the two
    Take two pieces of sheet metal 12x12, form into a bowl of some sort
    Then put a piece of each brand on the sheet metal
    Put ice in the formed bowls, put over a heat source. See what ice melts faster

    What’s your opinion on sound shield, have you ever used it? It seems to be pretty thick stuff from what I’ve heard

      I will be honest with you. Its all the same. Bigger is not always better. I am not part or get any kind of commission Noico. They have been the best for me so far. Price wise is a no brainer.

    It appear that there're 2 ways to sound deadening with Dynamat or Noico. 1st put that material everywhere 2nd put some pieces in "strategic" places... What's your point of view? I got a K5 Blazer . Thanks

      Both ways work, BUT, if you want it quiet, you have to do a full cabin cover. Cover everything. Ive done this for years. Full coverage is best. Thanks for watching.

    Thank you for the video and all the information. Can you tell me if Noico also keeps the floorboard heat from coming into the cab? Dynamat claims it helps with the heat as well as the Sound Deaden.

      I have used the cheapest and the most expensive material available. i have nothing to do with NOICO and dont get free stuff from them. with that being said, they are the same as high dollar names. As for your question. it controls heat. Its all i use now. You can double stack this stuff as well. Thanks for watching.     I saw another comment on this vid that mentioned putting the foam pad type of sound deadening on top of the butyl/aluminum layer. How necessary is that extra layer?

      Not necessary, But would make it even more quiet and works best if you use it. But not necessary.

      Yea pushed send key by mistake but it works really well been in for a year live in central calif gets very hot here really cut the heat and sound run ac on normal now instead of high

    I used three layers of Peel and seal from home Depot to make it as thick as the expensive stuff and it was still cheaper

    What about 80ml and 18sq ft of this??? Would it be enough for two front doors and rear deck for 6X9'S??? Which one would be more than enough for what I asked 18sq ft or 36sq ft??? Would I need two boxes of either or 1 box???

    $67 for that little box?
    I got a 8' x 6' roll of the generic stuff from amazon for $40. It all does the same thing. Dynamat prices are a hard pass. I'm no expert, but I seriously doubt anyone would be able to tell the difference between any of them, once it's installed.
