  • Don’t miss our newest Soaring Valor video! On this trip, we welcomed students from Notre Dame High School to join alongside our WWII veterans. This one-of-a-kind experience allows our younger generation to learn first-hand from America’s Greatest Generation. A special thank you to our sponsors: The National WWII Museum, our official airline partner American Airlines, Envoy Air Careers, and the Sheraton New Orleans Hotel.

How refreshing and uplifting, in these days with so much nasty crap on social media, to see videos celebrating man's good to each other. Also, I have to say, Gary Sinise has risen massively in my estimation. I knew he worked with the military's families, but I had no idea he was so involved, and on such a scale.
    Kudos to you, Mr Sinise.

I can't imagine anyone in these United States who has more gravitas than Mr. Sinise. Well, maybe just a notch or two below our Medal Of Honor recipients. No one will ever be able to rise above them.

They are the generation(my father's) who taught me the meaning of duty and sacrifice. They are the ones in their prime who taught, built, repaired, rebuilt our country.

I have always been impressed by the WWII service of men & women who had never "left the farm". I'm so impressed by the high school students who were chosen to accompany the veterans on this Honor Flight. The attention these students paid, and their understanding that the veterans were not much older than themselves when they went and served lifted my heart. School classes could not have taught more than this trip did.

Words cannot express what my feelings are for our WWII veterans. If we lost that war we would have be enslaved, dead or in concentration camps. There is no doubt what those two Dictators one from Japan and one from Germany had in mind for this nation. Those brave men and women from our country stepped up with their labor, sweat, backbone and patriotism and attacked the enemy head on. They won but not before giving up lives and limbs and those who survived carried home the memory of losing their buddies in combat and many waking up in the middle of the night soaking wet with sweat from the nightmares of their enemy encounters even 50 and 60 years later. There is a segment of our society that would want you forget and also not teach our youth about the enormous sacrifices and victories those men and women of the Greatest Generation endured. Gary Sinise is determined not to let that happen. In my opinion he's one the greatest Americans of our time. Bravo brother Gary.

About the time I think that this coming generation is a lost cause ... this. Whoever had the idea to unite The Greatest Generation with this youngest generation with this field trip was brilliant. And then to finish the event with a custom challenge coin. Brilliant! Kudos to Notre Dame High School for participating - it's not a popular thing to do these days.
I gotta sit down and write a check to www.garysinisefoundation.org/donate/ You should do the same.

Their steps falter. Their vision is clouded by age. Their joints are gnarled & ravaged by Arthritis and Time, yet their Hearts are as great and bold as when they were little more than children going through the Crucible of Mortal Combat. They entered the war a little more than Children, but grew into Adulthood ever so quickly and brutally. Did they really "Save The World"? Yeah, they sure as Hell did.

THIS is what the world has lost sight of. With people so focused on themselves, what they have and want, the governments and media desensitized humanity, forgetting or rewriting of history, and the loss of moral values, ethics and care for each other we have slowly lost our humanity. This is not a one country problem. It's a global problem. For years now; people have "trusted" their elected leaders to run their country and look after the welfare of the citizens and we went blindly along with our own interests. To blindly trust and not keep a check on those who are SUPPOSED to have our interests at heart is why the world is in such a mess now. By NOT reminding our children our country"s history of freedom; we have given it away to corruption and greed. I believe that the Gary Sinise Foundation's message should be implemented in every country. Its criminal to turn our backs on the military personel who have served our countries ,gave everything( including their lives) to keep our homelands safe and free. The current global state of affairs has happened many times in the past. The difference now is that its mostly covert....done in the shadows of cyberspace. Its incidious, malicious and evil. The "pandemic" was created by man, released on purpose by man and the information, protacols, new words and catch phrases and ,worse yet, the global participation of countries ( willingly or under duress) forcing all people to comply with their directives or face dire consequences is a very familiar routine used by many leaders who have sought to rule not only their country, but the whole world ( Hitler's "Playbook") Covid 19 is a GMO from a mild seasonal cold/flu. Just different enough to gain a patent for its creator, but not enough to kill on its own ( these scientists and their owners wouldn't want to die from it) So they spin a huge lie ,give it a " cute" name and greatly exaggerate its attributes. The global heath organizations( funded by the mega rich) force the medical/ scientific governing bodies to pass down this false informtion o scare and create panic in the people. These evil leaders then force the police / military ,medical communities and the education and media to push their propaganda. Most of the "free" countries if the world are now on the brink of dissolving into a Communist/Dictatorship . Canada is at " the eleventh hour" . Our " leader" has not listened to the peop!e for a long time. He has bought into the Chinese communist idea and sold our country to them without our permission. Our military has been tied and muzzled even though they do not have to answer to the government... Only to the Queen and Governor General. We also have a constitution which protects each citizen of our country ( like the US) lets not forget about the Nuremberg Trials either. Canada wants to remain free, but we need the support to remove the poison in our government. The problem is that our PM has called an " emergency" election for next Monday. Sept. 20th. I feel that this will be as bought and paid for as the last election. Canada and the US have often banned together for mutual support. Canada needs help now.
