no, role horses are only exclusive to Red Dead Online. If you play PC you can find a mod that allows you to spawn any horse (especially the hidden files one) in story mode.
I play rdo on PC. I love it. Its more problematic on PC because you have to watch out for modders and definitely need to run a VPN so they don't fully eff your shit up but you can totally learn how to navigate it all. Been playing full-time online mode for a year and it's really awesome but there's a whole lot more to learn and grind than in story mode. I definitely recommend watching pvpcat and tictactic if you're gonna try rdo, you'll learn almost everything from them and other youtubers.
