I do actually have an alpha shiny H-Decidueye. It spawned in the second phase of a massive mass outbreak of Rowlets. Just crouching in the grass, ready to run the heck away, when I heard that beautiful little sparkle sound. I was on a call with my friend at the time, and he freaked out at this. It may not be the round boi, but it’s the round beeg boi, and I’m happy :D
I found a Shiny Alpha Rowlet in the distortion a few days after Legends Arceus came out and I can confirm Shiny Alpha Rowlet is truly the best
I had the rare alpha rowlet mmo happen, but unfortunately no luck. I did the ghost spawn permutations, but had no clue about despawning them by stunning them. Congrats on the green ball!
I clicked this video instantly cause me and shiny rowlet go way back… I finished Legends Arceus quite early and when that Massive Mass Outbreaks update came, I realized i could get one of my favorite shinies of all time: Rowlet. And so I shiny hunted the little dude for hours and hours. Finally, after one year of massive mass outbreaks, resetting, grinding aguav berries, having a perfect entry on rowlet and dartrix, I finally got one. It was in the beginning of this year I believe. Now watching this guy do this brings me back memories.
I got a shiny alpha Oshawott from a regular Oshawott outbreak. It just spawned as the only alpha in a group of normal ones. It’s still one of my favorite shinies I’ve ever gotten lol

I didn’t know u can use the berry and despawn passive Pokémon. I got Alpha shiny Rowlet using a similar method where u have 3 Pokémon left and go back to camp, this changes the Pokémon in the next wave. Gonna try this with other starters. Awesome vid!! Love this game, currently have 112 shiny alpha and counting!!

i only have 1 shiny alpha and its a random wyrdeer i got. I even hunted rotom with the permutation method, did every combination and didnt get it. I will probably hunt alpha spiritomb though

@@michaelbradshaw6567easiest is to fly around for random shinys and from time to time they will be a alpha. I have around 6 of those. Besides that my shiny alphas are split between MMO and static spawns. Manipulating spawns with battles helps a lot to get harder alphas. I do have 1 magikarp from a regular mass outbreak but those are very rare. Having a good route to check all the spawns quickly helps a lot. Have some good music or a video to make the time pass smooth.
@@swagpigggy5538 I just tried it, and it just seems like all you have to do is throw berries and fast travel away with the same permutations as normal. I tried it with a really annoying munchlax outbreak (first spawn alpha snorlax, 5th spawn snorlax) and I got it to work for 2/3 multi-ko's. It was tricky to avoid the aggressive mons, but it seemed to work. In the end, I got the shiny alpha munchlax from the generic ghost spawn method, but the berry thing did actually work.
I honestly think that the way to go might be berry despawning 2 mons, then doing ghost spawn method, then berry despawn 3 (if you can), ghost spawn, etc. This should get you a lot of permutations while not being too much of a pain.
Anyway, if you try it out, please let me know if you learn any useful information. I will probably keep messing around with it (I need shiny alpha petilil), and might remember to come back here if I learn anything else. Feel free to ask any questions, and I'll see if I can answer them.
Watching this made me feel much more lucky for finding my shiny alpha Rowlet. I was just casually watching a video about permutations, and decided to try it out on the first alpha hoard I found, which just so happened to be Rowlet. I only went like 30 or so encounters in before I found it.

This is huge! This whole time I never knew getting a perfect Dex page actually gave you a further boost! I thought level 10 was the maximum.
One time I got a shiny pachirisu at a star pachirisu outbreak and next wave I got a shalpha and I also once got two shalpha swinub in one outbreak but I traded the two shalpha swinub away 😭

Rowlet is my favorite pokemon in the whole universe of pokemon
I started my shiny rowlet in 2020 via masuda method in Pokémon sword. From 2020-2022 that was all I did, and not a single shiny rowlet. That was until legends arceus came out. Between the two games I kept using both methods neither of which worked. Until may 21st of this year when I booted up legends arceus and got a rowlet outbreak. And this one had a shiny. And I got it. The best part about mine, if you went into the summary where it shows where you caught it and at what level. It’s location is put as “The Sacred Plaza” making it even better for me since it was something I’ve hoped for over three years straight. And I finally got it all that time later

Shiny hunting in Arceus while watching a video about shiny hunting in Arceus is risky business because of the shiny sound. I found a shiny mothim right as a shiny was found in the video.

You gotta give this Rowlet the special treatment. Give it all the Ribbons, make it a ribbon master. You're guarenteed the Jumbo Mark and Alpha Mark at LEAST
The reason the bidoof was such low lecel in the final map was because they had to balance bidoof by lowering its level drastically.
Trails I have a question to the outbreak with docile pokemon do you berry the pokemon that can get aggressive too or do you just battle it
knock them out, aggressive pokemon won't despawn if you run away

After seeing another CZcamsr Play this for the first time I had started playing mine I basically beat the game I only need to do some special trial for the magic carp But AnyWho when I did I found my favorite grass starter twice in mass outbreaks I caught the first form then end up finding the second form and the best thing about it they’re both shiny I was really excited that’s never happened before
my first shiny in legends arceus was a shing alpha zorark and then a shiny zoroa in the same outbreack

mfw I got not one, but TWO shiny Rowlet, a regular and an Alpha from an Outbreak while hunting for a single Shiny Alpha Cyndaquil (And still haven't found it, mind you). I have been hunting for a single Cyndaquil but the Outbreaks almost never show up and when they do it rarely stays Cyndaquil and swaps to Quilava. Will watch the video while hunting for my bb though, let's see if this brings any luck!

4:50 so me finding shinies in the berry outbreaks have just been a lucky coincidence? it happened like 4 times though. guess all the shiny luck I've been putting towards arceus for over a year has gone into arceus..... but the game and not the BDSP huntable arceus.

Does the method of scaring off the Pokémon and getting new spawns work for a regular mass outbreak? I know the first 4 would always be the same but hypothetically does that mean the last 11 would be different every time? Btw congrats on the shiny alpha rowlet! This was very informative for my own hunts! ✨
It does work for a regular mass outbreak (took a long time to find anyone to confirm that somewhere). But no, the following set of pokemon won't be completely random every time. It works on a system of tables. Scaring off two pokemon at the start will be one table, scaring off three will be another table, and so on. It doesn't work for aggressive pokemon because you can't fast travel, but in that case, you would battle them instead
@@trailspokemon Aaah! Okay! Thank you! I was testing that method and realized while some of the spawns were different it still had similarities in the set, so knowing it’s based on how many you battle at once that changes the next spawns helps a lot! I was just running at run away pokemon (an eevee outbreak) and waiting till the exclamation point showed up and then fast traveling and running back to the spot- I think this method is really useful only when utilizing the massive mass outbreak though (one that has a wave of alphas) since- for me anyways- it takes longer to reset and do the process than just doing a scan over the map. But it is super helpful for targeted hunting! So thank you for the information! ^v^

Could someone please explain in a more complicated way how docile and timid stun resets work? And does it work with aggressive too? I’m a bit confused
Essentially, the Pokémon in the encounters aren’t random. The spawns are drawn from a table of options. Usually when you clear an outbreak, you’re only seeing the default spawn table, the one where you’re removing one Pokémon at a time. There are alternate spawn tables that will activate depending on how you clear the outbreak, one at a time, two at a time, three at a time, or four at a time. You can doing this by k.o.-ing aggressive Pokémon in the same battle, or by doing startle/stun resets with docile Pokémon (because you can’t fast travel away from aggressive Pokémon). You can do multiple iterations of the permutations: ex. Ko 3 at once, ko 3 again, to pull a different table to clear one at a time after. It’s mainly worth doing if you’ve already found an alpha outbreak that you want, as every table will have different alpha spawns

I think just maybe if you did lose the shiny to day/night rotation then you maybe maybe could’ve slept and rotated it back around but not sure because those mechanics are confusing and not very well documented last time I checked
