  • LEGO Jurassic World Plane MOC (Using Quetzalcoatlus Ambush)
    The aircraft in the movie is a Fairchild C119 Boxcar transport. The official Lego set was pretty decent but I felt it was too short in its dimensions and didn't have the right colouration and of course too many studs!!

    I was also considering a new nose piece as well, but what convinced me other wise was that Lego never made alot of those other nose pieces in light blueish grey.

    Increasing the proportions looks like it will be more 'playable'. I like what you did with the cockpit.

    Do you have a list of the pieces you used or a tutorial? Yours came out great.

      It's pretty cool, definitely one of my favourites

    I would just change the nose gear for a double to match the C-119.

      Yeah that would be good, I don't have every type of plane wheel so used the one in the set. Its a cool plane, I'd love to see one in real life

    Fun fact it is not a c-119 I have been in one before and the interior does not match, after doing research I have found that it is it’s a c-82 which is very similar but is smaller.

      Ah no way, I never knew that, I had a look and reckon you're right as it is a fair bit shorter. Probably is a c-82 after all.
      Either way it's a cool aircraft. I love the twin boom.
      Funny thing actually, I'm just in the middle of reusing this moc for a new project. I'm building a seaplane based on this, but making an aircraft that's never existed, just an original idea which borrows design elements from lots of planes. Should be done in the next two weeks, check it out when it appears 🙂

    Did u use a second jurassic world plane set?

    • @BflyBricks
      @BflyBricks  Před rokem

      Nope, just used parts from my own collection. Mainly the dark blue hood piece for the rear. I had two grey side panels already, and for all the other adjustments its mainly tiles and a few plates here and there too extend the wings etc. You definitely wouldn't need to go to all the expense of buying another $40 set to do this. Easier to use parts you already have. The good thing is, that this aircraft is meant to be old and battered, so even if you have other different coloured pieces you could still enlarge it and make it your own 😊

    Could you make a MOC using the parts in the set?
