And ep 10 has so many wonderful scenes that I just know how to feel. The scene with the flowers he knew their meaning and took Jackie there. The looks on their faces when he goes to take his work from school, she doesn't hide hahaha, wonderful. He looked at her at the wedding all the time, declaring himself in the speech. The meaning that the teapot has for her and he carefully fixed it, even she couldn't resist. And the final kiss, PERFECT, wrong for Alex, but INEVITABLE. TEAM COLE ALWAYS!! 🫖

I definitely agree with your assessment of the brothers. In tsitp we got to know about Conrad’s anxiety/depression, his interest in sports, sailing. How well he did in school. His desire to be a doctor. They gave him all these layers while giving Jeremiah almost none. This show has done a far better job fleshing out both brothers, their interests & personalities. Why each of them could be compatible with Jackie. Even if it’s also very obvious that Cole is the guy.

hear me out I was like i get it ..but if the girl or other party does not say it back what kind of relationship can you really have after that.. you would always be looking for it and the person would always feel guilty about not feeling it.. after that moment that relationship was gonna die... and whether Jackie was hoping to talk to him and realise he was sleeping is something we can only go into Jackie mind to find.
It was total accident she found the thing Cole mended Danny 100% forgot to put it back and he knew he messed up when she found it.
Cole and Jackie was inevitable. He was the only person she was having meaningful real conversations with.

So Jackie is receiving a lot of hate for kissing Cole and while yes she was wrong for cheating on Alex…..are we gonna forget the fact that Alex nearly kissed Kylie when she put him to bed after he got drunk? They also say that we reveal our true selves or at least our true feelings when we’re drunk as well as our actions…..Plus, there’s a clip from the Thanksgiving episode where Jackie asks Erin if she thinks she deserves more than to be in Cole’s line up of girls because fast forward to this last episode, and she kissed him…..people keep forgetting that this is still new territory for her. Jackie most likely never dealt with loving someone back in NY, let alone two brothers and having it turn into a love triangle, then there’s the fact that she can’t help or control who she likes, and being that Cole lead her on so much….she’s still young, and figuring out what she truly wants.

Y'all just need to accept that your boy and Jackie did a horrible thing to Alex and he is not to blame one bit for it. I’m team Cole. I think Alex treats Jackie more like his possession and it doesn’t feel authentic just more like I want her before Cole gets her and Cole seems to really love Jackie. The chemistry between Jackie and Cole is off the radar. Jackie settled for Alex but there is no real emotion. Her and Cole connect on a deeper level. Their conversations are just deeper - Cole let’s Jackie see him for real.

For me it was the opposite. I didn't see any good qualities in Conrad, just Jere. He was always the understanding and mature one. I mean even dealing with his mom's hospital bills while Connie was doing what and could care less to help. Plus having to give his blessing to Conrad to be with Belly while Conrad selfishly knew how difficult it was for him what he was asking him. Conrad was such a self-absorbed individual. I mean Jere even asked them to sort out their unresolved issues before he and Belly got together at the end.

I hate this plot even more because it's the second time Alex's girlfriend cheats on him with Cole. Meaning, girls will always choose the hot one, even if he treats them badly and acts like an ass towards pretty much everyone. Is this the message we want young girls to go through life with? I really wish shows would start showing them that it's far better for them to be with the nice guy who respects them than an asshole they're hoping to change.

Great review. Season 2 is gonna be super messy. I believe she will tell Alex what happened because guilt is gonna eat at her. I also think she will covertly have a relationship with Cole because it’s obvious she’s into him but I just don’t trust Cole. He’s gonna destroy her heart and I can’t say I won’t enjoy it because of how she did Alex. I also hated to see Jackie unravel towards the end. The Princeton interview sent her into a down spiral and she started second guessing her decision making. And Cole was applying the pressure. I wanna see these characters develop. Especially Alex and Jackie. Alex is only 16 so two more season of him maturing hopefully will boost his confidence and stop paying so much attention to Jackie because she’s all over the place with her emotions. Jackie needs therapy in the worst way. She’s just as toxic as Cole but hers is a little understanding because of the trauma she’s been enduring. But season 2 will be interesting and messy. I expect Cole and jackie scenes to be🔥🔥 but the fire want last long before Cole wants to start a fire with someone else. Alex came out on top of this season with some type of moral integrity and let’s all hope he gets over the heart break to come thou I know Jackie and Cole want make it easy for him at all
