I bought this with my giftcode I don't use, expecting it to be scrappy plastic that I would threw away in a week. But after seeing this video I kinda surprised it's actually quite solid. Thanks for the sharing !
Thank you much! Yes, it is a pretty solid Transmitter especially for the price ;-) I think it makes a great entry level Hobby Grade TX. See you in the Air!
Looks like a great Radio with a decent range for planes and drones, Tony! Tx for sharing these interesting info and tips...
Thank you Robby! Yes, I think this is going to be another very good option for someone getting into the Hobby. See you in the Air!
Greg, just ordered this as well, so excited! Actually ended up after the 3rd try to get the tx12 by radiomaster don't think I can go wrong, will fulfill my needs! Thank you for your support in everything!
It's a good entry level Hobby-Grade TX.
Radiolink makes some very good stuff.
@@GroundControlRC I actually changed my mind and got a fly sky FS I6 ia6b I thought it would be better with a screen!
@@capnhardway Yes, that's the only downside of the T8FB. You have to use an application to change the settings.
Great video and information thanks for sharing cheers
Thanks Rod! I think this TX & RX make another good option for getting into the Hobby ;-) See you in the Air!
Radiomaster T8FB or flysky FS-16X? Birthday coming trying to decide lol, looking at your new Warbird too lol.
The Radiolink T8FB is a good TX and I know the Flysky TX is very popular but I've never used one.
They both seem to make solid equipment.
You might also want to take a look at the Radiomaster TX12 and the new Radiomaster Boxer TX.
They're more expensive but have the option for a 4-in-1 Multi-Protocol Module.
My Primary TX is the Radiomaster TX16S and it's fantastic.
I wonder if this TX can bind with S-FHSS micro receivers like dancing wings hobby rx with s-fhss protocol. Or maybe with regular fhss receivers...
Hi Fernando!
I'm not sure, it seems many of these TX and RX manufacturers are using their own implementation of that protocol so many are not compatible.
Nice low price for a basic system. Great choice for new starters.
I agree! I'm glad it's getting less expensive to get into this hobby. The more the merrier. See you in the Air!
OMG I buy this brand new for 30$ on my local store, what a steal
That is a steel for a Hobby Grade Transmitter ;-)
It's nice with smooth gimbals.
Now, If I could find one for $30 ;-)
See you in the Air!
Hi , i have a problem with calibration , when i do all of these steps at the last of that the red an blue light keep blinking and it's not straight
Hi Erfan!
Any Trim or SubTrim in the TX that may effect the calibration?
Thank very much for this review,, but wondering if this radio can be bind with spectrum receivers????
Hi Ed! Thank You! Radiolink uses their own Protocol so it won't bind with Spektrum Receivers. It may bind with other FHSS Receivers but I don't have anything but the Radiolink Receiver to test.
Okay appreciate it,, thank you 👍🏻best wishes for your upcoming videos...!!
Hello big bro, I hope you will be fine. Very beautiful System body vise. By quality, I didn't know because never used before. I have checked through the link you mentioned below. Big brow there is my mind that which size of props can be used with 1106 motor, is it handy with 4 inches props. Kindly guide me Big Bro. May God bless you with health and harmony 😅😅.
Hi Muzaffar! It's possible to use a 4" Prop on an 1106 Motor. It depends on the size of LIPO you wish to use (1S, 2S, 3S). It also depends on the KV of the Motor. The lower the KV the more Torque the Motor will have. I just posted my Thrust Testing of the RacerStar BR1206 7500kv Motor and posted a link to the Thrust Data on our Facebook Page. That may give you some idea. The 1206 will have a bit more torque than an 1106 if they are approx. the same KV. The faster the Motor spins the smaller the Prop you will need to use, otherwise, the Motor will pull too many Amps.
Can this radio bind with dancing wings S-FHSS micro receivers? Or Which radio do you recommend to use micro and regular receivers?
It seems the FHSS / S-FHSS Protocols are implemented differently with different transmitters so I don't think it would support that Receiver.
Here is the information from the RadioLink Product Page:
Compatible with receivers: R8SM/R8FM/R8EF/R8F/R7FG/R6FG/R6F/R4FGM, applicable to Multirotor, Airplane, Glider, RC Tank, STEM Robot, RC Car & Boat and more.
I hope that helps and I'll see you in the Air!
Very nice video
Thank you much Joe! See you in the Air!
I am using it for a tank, you can spot me from the air.
@@tutorialjoe5595 You're in big trouble when I get my A-10 Warthog in the air ;-)
You mean the plane nobody wanted
By the way do you have a video on it, I looked but I couldn’t find one?
throttle cut? they should let you assign one of the dials for throttle cut.
Hum...you may be able to do that since they have channel assignments but I haven't tried that.
@@GroundControlRC the manual mentions it and kinda tells you how to do it, but the last step is kind of jibberish and couldnt figure it out.
@@creepinonthebabes RadioLink has been one of the most helpful companies I've dealt with.
I bet if you post that question with RadioLink someone will provide an answer.
I found this article so maybe it will be helpful.

We cannot connect the remote control to the application. Radiolink does not appear. This may be due to why.
This tutorial on Radiolink may help.

@@GroundControlRCthank you so much i will try again
@@GroundControlRCCan I ask one more question? Is it possible that our remote control does not have a Bluetooth feature? What should I do then?
@@hwanji_ Mistakes are made sometimes so it's possible.
Can you see the TX via bluetooth on your computer?
Even if you can't connect without the app you should be able to see it via bluetooth.
@@GroundControlRC No, I can't see it or am I not able to do it anyway? The instructions in the link you sent me were in Chinese, so I couldn't do much of anything, but thank you very much anyway.
Hey do you know why the system two mixes do not work?
It requires updated firmware. They have the download on they're website. After the update, you'll have additional mixes.
@@GroundControlRC Thanks I tried that but I already have four mixes they just have no effect.
@@two_boys_and_a_camera In this video I went through the process of setting up the Tiny Wing 450 and went through all the screens for Elevon Mixing, Dual-Rates, and EXPO. Remember any changes have to be written to the Receiver before they take effect. On Transmitters where you're configuring everything on the TX and not an App the changes are immediate. With the BT App you have to write every change to the Receiver before it takes effect. I hope that helps.
Big bro how can we make props at home.
I've seen ABS Props created on 3D Printers with mixed results ;-) With the results I've seen, I'll continue to buy my Props ;-) I don't have a 3D Printer anyway.
witch ports does a rc helicopter servos plug in to and will it work with apple iphone and what is the app called
Hi Dustin!
I think they have an Iphone version but check the website to make sure and that it will work with your version of IOS.
Heli Servos work much like Plane Servos in that you have Pitch (Elevator), Roll (Aileron), and Yaw (Rudder).
@@GroundControlRC what is the app called and what ports does the helicopter servos plug in too on the receiver
@@dustinplee5067 Hey Dustin!
Here is a link to the App, it looks as though it's only supported under Android.
www.radiolink.com/t8fb_app
I don't know how the servos are installed on your helicopter so I can't answer that question.
The servo that provides pitch control will connect to the Elevator Port, the servo that provides roll control will connect to the Aileron Port and so on.
What port does the esc plug in to on the reviver
@@dustinplee5067 Hey Dustin!
The ESC will plug into the Throttle Channel.
