Visiting Stuttgart, A City of Mobility

- I headed to Stuttgart to check out what they call it the Cauldron. I found the city to be a beautiful city grappling between its history as the birthplace of the automobile and its future, as a sustainable city. Beyond exploring mobility, I walked around and toured the cities laid back city center, walked over its giant highway, and enjoyed my time just exploring the streets. I really really loved Stuttgart - I highly recommend it. :) !!!

Ive been living in Stuttgart for last 10 years.I actually find the air quality as quite good here,especially in comparisson with Prague,where I used to live for 15 years before that ;) You should check Killesberg park and Leuze Minerallbad.There is natural drinkable mineral water in the pools in the Leuze(out of 19 in total in Stuttgart).

Ich hatte früher dort gewohnt. Großstadt ist anonym, die Menschen die dort wohnen sind sehr verschlossen und wollen mit niemandem etwas zu tun haben. Heute wohne ich wieder auf dem Land da redet jeder mit jedem, 100 % mehr Lebensqualität. Eine Großstadt kann man besuchen und am Ende vom Tag ist man froh wenn mann wieder im Zug sitzt und nach Hause fährt

Berlin - diversity and the melding of two cities with distinct characteristics since 1989
Hamburg - Industry with maritime traditions
Munich - Bavarian culture which is distinctly different than the rest of Germany - the silicon valley of Germany
Koln - TV, film studios and the enormous Gothic Cathederal.
Frankfurt - Banking and more Banking - also excellent expatriate influence of international cultures with an American skyline
Stuttgart - Mercedes, Porsche (little Detroit)
Nuremberg - most beautiful Altstadt (old town) of the largest cities in Germany; birthplace of the railroad in Germany, numerous museums, castle in the middle of the city, rich in history (Nazi artifacts/structures)
Bremem - charming old town
Hannover - International fairgrounds (exhibits)
Dusseldorf - fashion and media
Leipzig - site of the 1989 GDR revolution - Book fairs and upcoming food centre for international cuisine.
Dresden - City centre - Zwinger and rebuilt villas
Arm ist Stuttgart ganz sicher nicht und langweilig ist jede Großstadt nur dann, wenn man selbst langweilig ist. Ich hab mich in diese Stadt verliebt und freue mich jedes Mal wenn ich in meine Heimat zurück komme. Hoffentlich in Zukunft auch wieder dauerhaft.
@@randomperson4560 Jedem das Seine und jeder hat ein Recht auf seine Meinung. Wie ich schon sagte, lebte ich 8 Jahre lang in Stgt-Stadtmitte und fand es langweilig, industriell und ohne Sehenswürdigkeiten außerhalb des Schlossplatzes, des Fernsehturms, der Automuseen und des Schlosses Soltitude. Ich war es leid, immer wieder zu hören, wie sehr Stgt im Zweiten Weltkrieg bombardiert wurde. Zur Hölle, Nürnberg wurde zu 96% bombardiert und trotzdem hat sich die Stadt die Zeit genommen, die gesamte Stadtmitte in ihrem früheren Glanz wieder aufzubauen - das Ergebnis: eine wunderschöne Innenstadt in einer sehr großen modernen Stadt, die ungefähr die gleiche Größe wie Stgt hat. Auch Frankfurt hat seine Altstadt wieder aufgebaut, ebenso wie Köln und München.
Ich habe das Sushi in der Calwerstraße genossen, war bei Janey Richard einkaufen, habe im Sommer auf dem Schlossplatz im Gras gelegen und war mit Freunden auf dem Killesberg unterwegs.
Für eine vergleichbare Stadt wie Frankfurt, Nürnberg, Stgt fehlt einfach die Freundlichkeit, das Nachtleben und die historische Schönheit - aber wie gesagt, jedem das Seine
