Nice video. Thank you. However I have to warn potential buyers this unit is very proprietary. Your lights MUST have CH1-CH4 setup for RGBW or RGBA. I am using some (popular) cheap Chinese lights that had CH1 committed to the dimmer and CH2-CH5 committed to RGBW. This controller will not work with these lights. I even called Venue support. If your lights have ability to switch to 4 channel mode it may work (mine light did not have 4 channel mode). But the channels have to coordinate to the RGBW channels in the controller. I would also note some of the presents almost look like they require an RGBA diode. Note: All the Venue lights are RGBA. I not sure how the colors will interpret in an RGBW light.
I love what Venue is trying to do here. I wanted it to work for me. But it's attempt to be plug and play limits its versatility and use for every lamp
I totally agree with you and I should of mentioned that part of as a con for this controller, I set my lights on 6 channels and I lost amber and UV, I just use the macros provided by the controller. but, they work for quick set ups and house parties :)

I don't get it... what if you have 10 uplights?
Do the lights need to be set to CH: 1, 8, 15, 22, 29, 36, etc? What does that do? Why can they not all be set to CH: 1?
Does it work for pro moving lights with GOBO
What wireless stem are you using? I have Donner and it doesn't work.

This controller is amazing with my non-moving lights. I've tried two different bands of moving lights - Venue, and then most recently U'king - both didn't work with the controller. Its extremely possible I did not set it up correctly...but still more hassle then I would prefer to deal with.
It didn’t worked for me the first time but for all my washes and up lights work amazing!
It’s only for wash lights with Ch 1, 2, 3….RGB. or the dedicated Venue Tetra Bar. I truly love this thing.

Tengo 10 tetra 12 y el control. Pero. solo 4 puedo controlar con el control. Me puedes desir como puedo programar. Las 10 luces. Gracias. Espero y me puedas ayudar
Basicamente solo puedes poner 3 luces de hasta 7 canales creo, entonces tienes que poner 2 grupos de 3 luces y uno de 4 luces. Grupo 1 Direccion 001 grupo 2 , 008 grupo 3 , 015 espero te ayude :)

Check your channel set
Were all lights set to ch1? Or was the middle light set on ch 7? When it went red and blue is why I'm asking
Each light is set to its own address that’s why the colors changed individually, its a chase, the more lights the better the effect.
@@djcarlosmendez4950 I just got my controller in. I totally understand it now. This this is pretty slick. It really shines when you feed it an audio signal to the input. Currently running it all 4 channels with 2 wash fx2's on 4ch mode, and 2 older Venue par64 cans. Nice chases to sound
@@davemelvin5331 for a set up with no moving heads is great! Question , how many channels are you running on the wash Fx?
@@djcarlosmendez4950 I can only run 4. So basically just killer wash lights. If the controller on had 1 more channel I could get into some of the fun chases on the fx2. My purpose for this purchase was for my stage lighting with bands. When I use them for dj work I'll master slave them and use the remote, that will give the chases
