Love those Twilight covers..I have the paperbacks cause for some reason I'm not fond of hardback books. I must do I re-read of Twilight.. always loved them. ❤❤✨✨
For the cover that's a bit too big, you could cut from the bottom. If you do cut it, it will be easier if you take it off the book, lay it flat, and use a razor and ruler. (I've ruined so many book covers in my career!) Keep in mind, it's going to look shorter than the others on the shelf if you cut it. As far as the old covers, you could put them back on the books and put the new covers over them -- that way they won't take up any more room. I love how excited you are to get them! Twilight is not my thing, but I'm exactly the same with a copy of The Love Letters of a Portuguese Nun! Enjoy your geekdom -- we all need to wallow in happiness whenever we get the chance! 💚
What a great idea! I feel like I’m not very handy though and I’ll mess it up. 🙈 I do wish they sold the covers separately.

@NickellesNook I'd just leave it, because if you cut that one, it's going to look short and weird on the shelf forever, instead of just being a bit too long while you're reading it. I always take dust jackets off when I'm reading a hardback because I'm hard on books, but your mileage may vary!

The Twilight covers have a cult horror movie vibe to them. I like the version from Juniper Books, but they are just so expensive plus customs fees on top of the price. I just can't justify it right now.

I love those covers. I'm always happy to find other Twilight fans. I don't have hardcovers, or I'd be tempted to get those, but they're very cool. If they ever come out with alternative covers to go over paperbacks, I'd love to buy them. 💕

Oh my goodness, you're making me want to re-read Twilight!! I remember (back in the day 👵) going to a first screening of Twilight with a few friend's and a whole cinema full of people who loved the books. After the film finished, everyone in the cinema applaused! Oh my gosh, we all loved the film so much haha. Re the og covers, if you're not wanting to throw them away, in the K-Pop collecting community, a lot of collectors use acid-free, archival sleeves for their collections. You could possibly grab some A4 sleeves to protect them? I dunno if they'll be worth anything later?? I may be clutching lol, but could be an idea. Or one of those A4 folio book things with those clear pages inside to keep any covers you swap out

I too remember going to the cinema with all of my friends, I think I was around 14? We were so giddy and excited to watch the first film! I was always Team Edward before the films, but swiftly changed to Team Jacob when he cut his hair and got shredded in New Moon 😍😍😍😍

I think I even had like, a Team Edward or something hoodie from Hot Topic back in the day 😆 I did a vlog on that first screening (now privated lol) and I'm in a Twilight hoodie and have a twilight popcorn box and drink cup 🤣 Such good mems! I don't know it I ever got to Team Jacob...didn't 'Team Switzerland' go around a lot back then when people couldn't choose??? 😅 Maybe I need to watch all the films again as well🤣

Those are some beautiful covers! You could cut the too big one from the bottom, or both sides maybe, so you don't cut off too much? Either that or just leave it as it is, if you're not too bothered

I have the Twilight Saga in the white paperback version but those dust jackets are making me want to irresponsibly spend money on a hardcover set just so that I can buy the dust jackets 😢
