Just a thought, but maybe you should ask the dealership/store if they would be willing to do some kind of trade. Your JCB for their DF since you seem to like that better as far as the sight lines. Worth a shot to ask them.
my guess is that they dont really have a need for swapping to an articulated version but would probably be willing for a small fee.
maybe using the mower with the pallet fork instead on the pallet thingy would be very cool, and also give more uses and get your moneys worth from it, great video daggerwin i think buying the mower was a great idea and opens up lot more gameplay possiblities :)
I’m literally lying in bed watching someone ride a virtual JD ride-on rather than going out in the sun to ride my own JD mower! 😂

Dagger, I think you need to use the JD mower all over the farm! Tidying up over grown areas! Would have a small garden tractor work better?
That mower was such a good idea daggerwin! Especially with doing the silage. You'll of almost paid for it just with that cut once its turned into silage so if you then do another cut it will make you in profit i think! And all that grass would just be wasted if not cut. And of course it's realistic to keep on top of the grass around the olive trees
This episode brought a fresh take on farming, it does not always have to be big tractors and big fields. Diversifying the farms income stream is a great way to ensure success. Plus, it is always fun using small machines like this ride on mower 😁I am really enjoying the series, thank you.

I do like the idea to mow the grass around the Olive trees. Going for the 3350 capacity and the massive pile on the yard, does not feel very realistic though :) Still love the series and will enjoy watching it, not matter what you do. It's your series!

Makes sense to mow between the trees, this is a done thing. The capacity is not really fitting for a realistic series, but it is entirely understandable why you did it, purely for quality of life. It is a nice series this one.

You can tell that lawn tractor is 2WD because of the front wheels on it. No tread for gripping just steering and smaller than the front 4WD tires.

Why not sell the baler? Since not doing cows on this series, so silage not really needed. Love the series. Keep up the great work

Great idea with the ride on mower. Not unrealistic at all. So glad you updated the xml file. Sometimes, you have to be totally unrealistic to be realistic. Really enjoying this series and I too want to see how the Olives turn out when they are ready to harvest.
There was an option I believe to change the capacity when he bought the unit but I guess he didn't think about it

You should get the merlot telehandler,its relatively powerful yet compact for small yards and can be equipped with weights on the rear
Hey dagger, there is a nice "delivery" mod...it let's you pick the location where you want your order to be delivered and it cost like 2.5% of the purchase. I think it's even more realistic then go every time to the shop to pick up a bag of seeds.
An other idea is to download the "work camera" mod... Let's be honest all modern machines are equipped with cameras nowadays.
Id say these two mods definitely won't break your "realistic" approach.

i think that was the perfect setup. i mean going around with a strimmer would take ages and i think thats the only other way. yes theres push mowers but they take almost as long and a bag on one of them would have filled instantly, not very realistic for a realistic series... so yeah i fully agree with the ride on mower and if it was me id do any other bits of grass with it like around the house and sides of road

Three mods i recommend are combine experience, unload bales early and maize plus
You should consider getting a low loader trailer that you could drive veickles onto and be able to transport it to your yard, or rent it
30 foot flatbed mod is my favorite trailer. Can be converted to a tipper or log trailer, and can be configured as bumper pull or gooseneck.
You could have used the ramp bay in the big shed to drive off the back of the trailer
many people may call that purchase a flunk or a waste of money but another 2-3 cuts (after the silage pays off its price) the money made could go to the olive harvester

I thought it did. lol I usually use the zero turn with 5500L. Great for keeping sheep happy.

If you take the time to mow around the entire farm yard and the house you could almost double the amount in the pit.
I think another mod you should add to the series is the enhanced rental system (you get your deposit back when your return the equipment exempt the repair costs)
Technically in real life, when there’s nothing to do. You would play with toys!

Picking up a lawn mower with pallet forks is not unrealistic they pic up cars at my job with a loader and pallet forks
