  • I'll be showing you how to provide a neater finish for your cctv cabling, using cable ties, heat shrink labelling for cable naming, and cable boots. Lets not forget the brushed face plate for the cable wall entry to hide that unsightly hole.
All of this put together, is a recipe for neatness and job satisfaction.
Drop me a comment, email or enquire on our online store if you need any further information or advice on any cctv topic.

Pride is a rare character to find, you can't teach it you can only try and enforce it but that never ends well.

This works great for unfinished unconnected cables. I have to label a ton of cables in my music studio. Some are audio cables which have phone plugs already on them. And MIDI cables have 5 /8" diameter plugs molded on both ends. Is there any large diameter clear heat shrink tubing that can slide over these large plugs and then shrink down 75% to fit snug around the cable?

Hi Chris apologies only just seen this!
You could get larger diameter heat shrink tube, instead of using a label printer just write on the tube before shrinking. Unsure whether they would shrink enough to be tight around the cable but worth a try. I’d just type into Google or eBay or something, white heat shrink tubing (followed by diameter you are after). Hopefully you’ve managed to sort it out!

Just buy a clear shirkable tube and print plain text.
If you have solved this problem, I hope you can share. I have the same problem with you.

How do avoid the first label have the feed label in start? You start to cut the feed how?

Not 100% sure I quite understand the question.
If you are referring to the first bit of label that comes out at the beginning of each print, it always comes out without choice, it makes sure that the print label size is correct, you press print then you must hit the cut lever to cut the tape, then it continues to print, then you cut again. Hopefully this is the answer you are looking for!

We use the brother PT-E300VP, good enough for what we use it for.
