There isn't one unfortunately. Literally everyone in her life is taking advantage of her.. even her son. Wow. Her life is a nightmare and the documentary made me cry genuinely
What I don't understand is why is she being hidden from her family? What evidence was provided to the court to have them rule, in Wendy's best interest, and against her family?
She’s not being hidden, her family was not there for her, she spent many holidays ALONE. She admitted that! Where was the niece then? Or anyone else? People would say anything If they have an end in view. People are taking advantage of her, including the family members. Wendy is being protected and getting the best care right now.
At this point I think it’s difficult to know for sure who has her best interest at heart and who doesn’t. As long as she’s safe and getting the care she needs, that’s all that can be done right now. I just hope they protect her from that sorry Ex.

Usually the immediate family is considered first as the custodian before the extended family. Clearly, the son is taking advantage of mom. He's asking for the money (wch the mom approves) for someone else.
They all know who the manipulator is.
Now the problem is finding the extended family member that can be trusted.
Starting with her family
From first-hand experience when you find out that your husband stepped out on you and especially Wendy's husband gotten someone pregnant. Your WHOLE life definitely falls apart mentally, physically, emotionally, and spiritually. It's devastating!! With her going, deeper and deeper in depression and drinking. It took me 10 yrs a come up for air. And Nobody was able to stop me from drinking. I had to do it on my Own and I was the Only one that was able to Stop. Now almost 2 yrs. Sober. I WISH her the very best. ❤❤

While this is very true for the most part , EVERYONE'S story and situation can be verydifferent. It is well known knowledge and documented that "Wendy" Absolutely knew about her "husband's" mistress for years. She knew she couldn't make him stop so she "tried" to set rules for the cheating arrangement. No public humiliation, he was to come home at night (in the beginning), and the Absolute deal breaker was don't EVER get her pregnant, and he broke every single one of her wishes. He has been with that other woman "sharina" for YEARS before he got her pregnant, even bought her a house right in Jersey,not far from the home he shared with his Wife on paper "Wendy" for easier access , commutes and control.. Like I said "Wendy" has blatantly admitted after , and even before the divorce was finalized ,that she knew her husband had a mistress. The straw that broke the camels back was when he had to tell her that he indeed did get her pregnant after years of being with her and was indeed having a baby with her, according to her that is when she immediately filed for divorce and FINALLY had enough!

It was a lot to find out about Kelvin & his child otw, her mom passed away, Baby Kevin off to college, COVID isolation, pre-existing Graves’ disease, past substance challenges resurfacing to cope. Dealing with all that after years of managing life the best she knew how and continuing to excel at the career she loved. So much on the heart & body. Our good sis broke ❤ I wish her well and the best recovery possible. Miss the aftershow, the good ole days with Memsor, Merrel, Wig R.I.P., Brendan, Joanie & more. Miss you Wendy. You deserve to feel all the love, the love that’s been emanating around the world for you.

She was diagnosed with dementia AND aphasia, which is the same disease Bruce Willis suffers from.
There's no coming back from it, things can only get worse from now on.
As the disease progresses, she won't even be able to talk or understand anything anymore.
She's still relatively young, so that's very tragic.

I was late to the Wendy How You Doin' family of fans, but her show was amazing, especially the holiday shows. From the time she fainted during her show, I was praying for her and hoping her story would have a happy ever after ending. I'm truly heartbroken. I love Wendy so much, and to see her going through this...again breaks my heart. I hope all the decisions, on her behalf, are the right ones. I pray for her full recovery, so she can come back to what she loves most. Stay strong Wendy...YOU can do this.
Nobody recovers from dementia unfortunately. It only gets worse. Let's hope new drugs in the future will help all the more millions who will get it. Someone is diagnosed every three seconds with some form of dementia.

I read an article that said the court appointed an attorney named Sabina Morrissey as Wendy's legal financial guardian, which translates to me as "Guardianship over an estate". But from all of what I am hearing and have read, it seems like this attorney has "Guardianship over person and estate", because how come the family do not know where Wendy is?

@@kwbaby4297 It's not the family doing the documentary. Wendy signed a 3 picture deal with lifetime TV, this docuseries is the third installment of that. The family does not have conservertorship of Wendy, it's a bank of which the court granted gguardianship. None of the family have access to Wendy. Please watch the neice who appeared on "The View" today. It would give a little insight. I initially thought it was the family ( sister, neice, son and father) but it appears they have no say so at all.

Majority of the time people that are rich doesn’t want any family member handling their finances. It’s possible during the time of her spiraling monies may have been misused. It’s horrible when a guardian is appointed. Now more monies goes out. The company the guardian is working for is charging monthly charges. Attorneys are charging quarterly charges etc. The bank is making monies off her monies along with paying all her bills housing medical gas light insurance food personal items etc. Once the rich dies the bank, lawyers fees chip away at the account until monies are finally settled with the family. It could take several years until settlement. Having others to take over your monies have so much overhead. It’s a hot stinky mess.

I wish that it would be found to be something that they found they could cure with a supplement or dietary modification. Something easy yet miraculous. Thyroid troubles seemed to be the start of this. Maybe no alcohol could halt the progression of it. Just wanting the best for this lady and everyone this disease hurts.

Anyone who has Graves disease like me knows how many things it affects, including paranoid thoughts, forgetfulness and irratic behavior. My first doctor thought I was a drug addict even though I've never taken illegal drugs. I nearly died from it and looked like a skeleton. Wendy has a lot more very stressful things going on too. Bless her and may she recover from that and addiction. ❤
