Stay home, stay safe. This video has been ready and waiting for the last 4 weeks but was under Embargo from Hyundai until 11am this morning (for all publications), so sorry we had to keep you waiting.

  • @SBD2910
    @SBD2910 Před 4 lety +3

    We sometimes look for things absent but we hardly use many of them.
    1) Reach adjustment in steering absent - I havent used it in my car ever coz seat adjustments are more than enough.
    2) Auto wiper absent - This is one thing i would prefer to be included coz on a heavy rainy day it helps a lot.
    3) 360 degree camera absent - Again hardly matters coz we already have reverse parking camera and two rear view mirror. So side camera is just a cosmetic presence.
    4) Front parking sensor absent. - Again it depends on your confidence and judgement of things ahead of you.
    The major things that are a boon in this newer versions are -
    1) Paddle shifters - They help a lot in heavy traffic areas and for a quick over take.
    2) Panoramic sun roof - Though cosmetic, it definitely removes the claustrophobic feel in a longer journey for the rear passenger.
    3) Ventilated seats - Helps in a longer journey when leather seats tend to make the back wet and it definitely doesnt look good if you are heading for a meeting or a function.
    4) Wireless charger - Helps a lot when you want to make or receive a call. You dont have to distract your vision from the road to pull out or push in the charging wire.
    Things that should have been a bit better
    1) Dual tone dash board in diesel version - Would have preferred a black dashboard like the petrol version. Looks more cooler.
    2) Soft touch dashboard - Quality of dashboard desires to be better especially if you are spending 19 lakhs.
    3) The engine power should have been better. Even S Cross and XUV 300 offer better torque in their diesel engines.
    4) A heads up display like Kia Seltos would have helped during navigation.

    • @SuyashKaul
      @SuyashKaul Před 4 lety +1

      Flawed observation. Biggest point is wireless charging, no one, literally, no one picks up the phone to talk, just connect your phone to Bluetooth to pick your call.
      If you haven't used reach adjustment or 360 degree camera or front parking sensors especially while parking (later of the 3) in metro cities, you would never know their significance.
      There are no point of paddle shifters as its DCT won't let you take full control in sports mode and shifts to higher gear after 6500rpm.
      panaromic sunroof is also a pain after 3-4 years to maintain and dangerous for our non seat belt wearning janta if car topples

    I don't know why people are hating the exterior so much(btw its their own choice 🙄) but i like it's exterior. It's completely different this time, kind of futuristic. But the wheel rim seems like too much is going on, didn't like that. But creta's features makes it more appealing. Also i love the panaromic sunroof😍

    The new avatar is absolutely notches over the older version . The outgoing creta was never a “ looker “ . Personally , the rear side of the outgoing model was very pedestrian to say the least . The Creta 2020 is a much better design in my eyes , and does stand apart from the run of the mill “ sharper “ designs that have in an sense become passé . The looks do grow on you and the interiors ka Jawab Nahi. Class for this segment . Am going for it .

    Hello, everyone talks abt the DCT version bt what the CVT engine, bcoz there is much price difference between the two. What should one buy if the budget doesnt approve for the DCT version, is it still be wise to choose CVT ? in terms of engine performance, mileage, comfort and ride for city and highway mode both OR one should definitely try to increase his budget and choose DCT only and not CVT or MT , I'm here talking about the SX models (petrol) of new Creta 2020.

    • @SuyashKaul
      @SuyashKaul Před 4 lety

      DCT is only for the enthusiasts as it comes with turbo engine. If you want an automatic for daily driving, CVT is more than enough. Both have different engines so for quick overtakes and enthusiastic driving, DCT combo is better. For average and smoothness, CVT is better.

    • @juliusdaviesd

      jemsncrystals I agree. Like contessa classic, maruti 800 and now swift, we indians just want cars to look the same forever. Even if it’s dated.
      Abroad, Corolla has changed so many times that no one can say ‘this is how I want Corolla’ to look. Here People are gobbling up the Polo though it looks really outdated for years.
      I’m sure everyone will be happy if creta looked exactly the same as previous gen with the Seltos grill.

    The sunroof button is a multi operation button. There is a way to open the screen / curtain in one touch. You did it in the difficult way.
    Just move the button slightly backwards without click. It will only open the screen & not the glass at all.
    Do give it a try..!!
