Christina, let me say something... I'm an English teacher in Brazil and your videos have helped a lot of my students. It's like I'm bringing a native speaker of English into the classroom and I work alongside you. I mean... I pause, provide extra examples... So... Thank you for the partnership! You're really good! Keep up the amazing job!
Victor Paulo Figueiredo appreciate u for being honest
Why do you add 'a' at the end of a sentence?
@@814242 Do you mean the 'a' sound at the end of the word?
The waiter asked me how do you want your eggs? I said half fry 😂 The waiter was confused. Half fry is same as sunny side up in India.
Hi Christina. I'm Japanese.
When I went to the U.S. and got in a restaurant, I was surprised that I had to select from many options.
If I wanted to have a hotdog, I had to select the kinds of bread, meat, sauce or something.
There were some sets of foods in Japan usually, so we don't need to communicate with servers.
I thought because there are many kinds of people - countries, religions, and other things- in the U.S. so I felt it's a cultural difference.
Dear Christina, what positive energy! I'll check out more of your videos to see what I can incorporate into my lessons.
I'm so happy to learn English with you Christina... Thank you, I love you!
Hi from Brazil... I've been learning too here ... thank you so much!

I've been to the USA and I was taken aback by the quick language used by all customer service people. And I'm not the slower speaker but this was very fast. This made me shy and because of that I didn't order anything myself, I asked my American friend to handle orders. Thanks for videos that help to go through this 😂
You are very friendly and even fun
I love watching your videos.

I'm from peru, south America and living in Chicago. USA I had gone to eat at restuarants many times, when i got into the location. With my family the hostess ask us. HOW MANY PEOPLE YOU ARE? then she decided to bring us to adequate table, and the following tips that you explained , thats true, but it's very important to tell the tourists whose will come to U.S. don't forget about tips, because servers in restaurantes don't reciéve a good salary, they expect to get a good tip from customers, the minimun legal tip now in U.S. is 15% , from the checko or bill
. thanks cristine, you're videos are amazing, i love it.
Christina, thank you...i learned so much from your tutorials. I really love how the way you teach-so energizing.Love you!

When I went to Texas last year, I didn't know how to order beef steak. After I chose the T-Bones, the server asked me for what did the steak cooked. Then I was puzzled by the five types of cooking: Rare, medium rare, medium, medium well, well done. Finally I told the server that I needed it cooked 50%, then the server successfully got it. It was an interesting experience in the US. Wanna to travel there again.

Another day, we needed water to prepare the baby's bottle. Supermarket did not accept anycustomer to be sure to close on time. We run to a restaurant near to our place and asked them if they could just sell us a bottle of water for our baby. The owner told us I was not allowed to only sell water. He offered it to us. I often go to this type of restaurant with my family. The owner had great values.
I've learn different style of eggs, scrambled egg, hard boiled, sunny side up and over easy. And you've teach how they pronounce in real world, it is useful. Thank you so much!
How do you like your eggs cooked then🥚🍳? 🙂
hey Christina, thank you for your videos, i appreciate a lot. When i visited US, Orlando, it was easy, a lot of people speaking portuguese :D. But, for me was a little difficult to ask a meal, some words was new for me, like BAN, CAN(of coke), understand quetions from waitress, etc. Next time I'll training more with that video. 👍👍👍
At breakfast time eating sunny side up egg is my favorite. 🍽️🍳😋

Hello Christina, I wanted to post a comment but I got the following message : "cannot read properly data of undefined. I don't know what's that mean ? Could you please explain ? This is not the first time that I got such error messages.
Earlier, I could not comment.
My post was concerning the TV news that I can't even watch. I could just hear that the new journalist was speaking about the 5G and then internet cut. What's a joke !
Hello Christina, as my internet connexion has been cut again, as the supplier did not do anything since last week, I tried to use an Ethernet cable. Does not work.
This afternoon I met a neighbor and asked him about his connexion. He answered that he had some. Same internet supplier like me. and I could see him going in a room and opened it. I live there for years and I don't have those keys.
Can't believe it. I don't know what's in there.
Please let me know about your neighbors.
Strange that I can come and comment your video but not allowed to watch TV programmes.
Usually i would like to have lunch in barbecue restaurant, cause i think the dish they serve there like bufflo hot wings, smokin BBQ ribs represents the most traditional flavour of Southern USA
Great video! A survivor guide in my opinion =). I think another one to add on this topic is 'soups'.... ie, when the server ask you: 'would you like soup or salad?'. For me and my friends the first time we heard that it was more like 'super salad'.... our first answer was always 'yes please' .... :P
Teacher I learnt the name of eggs with you! Thank u!!!
I think there are many things like in Vietnam!
I'm from Vietnam.
Glad to add friends with you!
i like the anerican ribs ! its the best with bbq sauce..
