K’sante seems to really have his ult as a finisher for killing squishies rather than going all out instantly and losing all of your resistance. His non-ultimate cooldowns are fairly low so it seems to be the point of his play style- cc and bully the frontline, then when your squishies either die or the tanks fall you dash in to the carries and bake them with your insane damage and healing from ult.

I absolutely love the emotional rollercoaster this champion puts him through.
So if you get an early lead, play way better than the enemy team and can go full armor vs a full ad team that doesn't build too much armor pen, you can feel strong, kinda!
Ok so about that early lead, it all started when he as a ksante was trading even with a darius.
I took 2k dmg on a sec and half, from a sivir whit kraken + lord doms on him full Tank.... XD but that ONLY means Riot made him balanced
@@carlosferreira3180 Would you not take as much on any other tank? It is a SIVIR(ADC) WITH KRAKEN(SHIT TON OF TRUE DAMAGE) AND LORD DOMS(AN ARMOR SHRED)!!! You know I don't I you I blame the League community as a whole because I doubt you would be complaining if you were the Sivir, but it's cool I guess its what league players do that's why I blame the community

@@13thtrickster46 not complaining just making a point k'sante aint broken its just a skill based Tank. U play well u get rewarded but there is a counter play. I was lucky egnouh to play as and against a k'sante, i won hard vs a yone but couldnt vs a shen, renekton worked to me vs a k'sante but to BE honest he didnt seemed like knowing what he was doing
i think all they really need to do to make his ult actually good is make it so the max health reduction is ACTUAL max health and not the weird crossed out health that leaves you vulnerable to executes.
his ult is actually good tho, ive never had an issue with executes because i heal too fast and i kill squishies before they can ult, not to mention stoneplate which just saves you.
You aren't vulnerable to executes. Cause executes are based on missing health and yiu don't have any missing hp when you ult. You just have a lower max hp. That's is all. Like garen can't ult you as soon as u ult cause u don't have any missing hp. I've tested it. Soo executes change nothing

@@guifdcanalli yea a 30% winrate is abysmal. It’s extremely counter intuitive to have an ult that lowers your resistances and health on a tank. I understand these 200 years guys want to make unique champs but if you are going to make a tank, then make a tank. Not a tanky assassin.

The champs is good. Just don’t R until you’ve already lost half your hp. That way you get full use of your resistances and hp. Before you get rid of it all.
-combo is stack Q then charge W the enemy Q them behind you & R them toward your turret in situations like this vs Darius.
Especially late game. Zwag had 80% resistance at ~300 armour and 83% at ~500 armour. Losing 65% of 500 is still means he’ll have like 70% damage reduction.
The champ is ok at 1v1, but still needs some buff imo. The only reason why he looks good this game was because the enemy team was full AD, with a bunch of melees that Zwg could actually life steal from

My only problem with K'Sante is that there are numerous other champs with "Power Up" ultimates that empower your stats and abilities, but they don't have the downside of lowering your max health or resistances. I feel like his ult doesn't give that much more of a bonus that it warrants a downside like that.
he's a tank that kinda turns into an assassin with the ult, i stacked health and some AD and turned pretty good damage and survivability when the health drops

I think if he didnt use mana he might be a bit better, but you could also build the Tank Tear item
Fimbelwinter works well due to it's unique passive, but HP don't scale well on ol' K'Sante.
Feels like his E could use some range and better scaling. But other than that, looking forward to new items.

@@mickaelsflow6774 Its just a shame when Riot can bring out champions that deal what looks like 2x the damage with low skill cap and K'Sante champions are left feeling so utterly underwhelming but I am all for more champions that are as oppressive as Ornn.

Udyr and K'Sante are nice to good, albeit slightly underwhelming. K'Sante should gradually gain more for his ult. We can't wait to be at 500 Armor or 300/300 to start being oppressive.

You have to wait on using his ult until they waste their ressources on your tank stats (armor and hp) then go in while they are vulnerable. That way you optimize having tank items in both tanking damage then for doing damage
If you perfectly micro a riven, yasuo, alkali : 1v5. Perfectly micro kasante: might take one person with you
You should try him as a support with his group stun could be useful

It somehow hurts but is also hilarious to watch him struggle with this champ, like he keeps trying to play him like he is a Sett or Sion when he is more like a Ornn or Shen

K'Sante is a pretty average top-laner - he's great at providing crowd control, but less so great at being the top-lane tank damage that the team needs. For K'Sante to be more viable, I propose the following changes:
His R should no longer cost health, but instead he will lose a slightly greater number of armor and magic resistance.
That way, K'Sante can keep the health he has created as a tank, but still take damage equal to that of the mid and bot lanes. I''ve been playing him Top since his release, and his ultimate just seems to get him killed in team-fights unless you reactivate quick enough.
frostfire gauntlet very good on K'sante in most matches, plus alot cheeper when sunfire.
What about winter's approach on him as well?
Before quadrakill: Kisante is a pile of garbage. After quadrakill: that was kind of fun. xD
Warmogs is a good pickup so the ult doesn't hurt as bad, and after ulting you can actually stay in lane rather than having to back every time you ult.
I have been playing k sante since release and have been extremely bitter about it but at the same time I love playing this champion. His ult in my opinion is best used as a finisher. When you see someone below 40 percent or something ult them and melt em.

I noticed that his ult caps his max health, and doesn't reduce it. So even when you had your ult going, triumph was healing you 400 at the end there.
With the CC and the shielding, he may be playable supp ?
You can reactivate your ult to cancel the passive (debuff). I think it's quite underrated. Say you use it as an escape, you can then reactivate to once again be full tanky stats.
yeah but you dont regain your hp, so its kinda scuffed... youre basically handing away half your hp for, well, nothing. Its better to ult when youre below 50% hp so that you dont suffer the hp penalty.

@@okem8408 they mean if youre running away from someone reactivate your ultimate so youget your tank stats back instead of leaving yourself without 65% of your resistances the health isnt relevant because you wouldnt be trying to run away if you were at the ult hp cap

stoneplate and hullbreaker feel kinda ridiculous for this guy, double dipping the items for the ult buffs make your ult surprisingly deadly while still keeping you fairly tanky
definitely needs a little more though, maybe having the ult reductions decay over the duration or buffs last for a while after so you can use the omnivamp to heal up after
would a late game ravenous hydra be viable for that extra aoe dmg and omnivamp?
his ult should be an explosion at his location that deals 1000/2000/3000 physical damage to himself and 10- 50% to nearby enemies depending on how close they are to K'sante.
