You forgot about the caster minions doing more than Cait and Lux, so it's actually a 1v10
Tiny bit of a necro, but if you live for long enough and farm enough, even if you're 0/7, you become worth a shutdown. It's rare, but it's happened to me and my friends a handful of times. That being said, I really don't think someone who's 0/7 should be worth a shutdown for the precise reason of not making them worth the gold. No offense to anyone who's gone 0/7, we've all had bad games lmao

I hate to, but I have to give props to the Yorick. He could have played for style, given it was a 5v4, but instead any time he saw Zwag in lane, even in the late game, he just said "nope" and left. Good strategy to just refuse to fight the one threatening opponent

I love that the double nexus explosion bug is still in the game. One of my favourite ways to lose.
I think they fixed it at one point but everyone complained and they put it back
I care more about landing the double nexus pop than my skillshots
Is it even a bug though? I think it's more of just a funny exploit. If the surrender animation and the nexus animation pop at the same time you lose twice. I've only seen it twice in my games but I love it haha

I think this is a perfect example that after all league is a team game and your own performance may not be enough if you're playing along 4 cones. This guy played one of the most perfect games I've ever seen and still wasn't enough to win
This is exactly why this game is fundamentally garbage as a competitive discipline. If you play perfectly you should be able to win every game no matter the rest of team relative performance (excluding griefing ofc)

@@xzazirx That's how it should be, either you can play jax/vayne bot/twitch/etc. and successfully 1v9 the game when you are clean(!), or just introduce other mechanisms (tps, more mobility, etc.) with which a game won't be a coinflippy waste of time in 8-9/10 games in highelo/pro

But there is no other competitive and esport game that any player can 1v5, even now that you can't do it as easily no other game is remotely close to doing that. That's not the problem with the game, but serious players playing in the same team with braindead trash idiots. Beyond ranks there should be a better system like csgo's trust factor to weed out players and not ban players for saying stuff and allowing players that disconnect every other game to queue with actual serious players

I did the math and apparently the cait after renekton left was able to do on average 185 damage a minute and the lux did 139 damage a minute with a combined total of 324 damage a minute idk how it is possible to do such little damage after 40 minutes of farming this is a case that needs to be studied 😭

I have a post-game lobby screenshot still saved in which my jungle yi did 3 damage over the duration of an entire match. No one will ever understand how.

If anyone is curious, Zwag did 61.88% of the total damage of everyone else in the game combined.
That's a weird way to look at that math. His team dealt 124,301 damage total and the game total was 224,675. He dealt 69% of his teams' damage (nice) and 38.22% (85882/224675) of the total damage. I don't know what dividing his damage by everyone else's would indicate (85882/138793=61.88%). I mean, it also compares his total to everyone else's, but I still find it odd to compare them like that.

@@michaelstevens8754 i was considering it like a contest, because his damage was so high i just wanted to know how it compares to everyone else. basically, one person did a little over half as much damage as 9 other people combined, which i think it's pretty impressive! also i think he made a statement at the end of the video about doing more damage than everyone else combined, and that made me curious 😁

In Dota, if allies disconnect, you can control their characters, buy items, etc. If someone is good enough at RTS, they could technically win the game better than having team mates if they were significantly lower skill than the player that remained. Imagine if that existed in league - the ability to swap between you and dced teammates, or control them as a group.
Ohh interesting. How is it decided who controls them? Like an option that can be selected?
@@shaun6038it’s just like controlling different units in StarCraft, I think you just click on the dc’d players character and now you control that character until the player comes back or you go back to your picked character, I haven’t played dota in years but I remember being able to do this
Henry played a smurf game where he controlled 4 characters including his with only a dark seer support still not DCd and won the game. That game is unforgettable.

@sanoj9557 No, they didn't. They repeatedly made the same mistakes over and over again. Cait did absolutely nothing but farm and die solo. And for some odd reason, the Lux didn't bother to babysit the Cait... They ran in solo against a hullbreaker yorick and died. Or got solo'd by Khaz. They added zero value to the game they apparently "tried to win"
Yes and thats absolutely right. But for the enemy team it doesn't matter what she actually does but what she could do. If you go in a fight 3v5 or 5v5 it doesnt actually make a difference in a game like that, because they are both useless, but they are still a threat to the enemy team just by being in the game.@@refillz5281
I noticed a strange thing that I find is happening more often than not. When bot lane is doing good, the game more often results in defeat, and bad bot lane more often results in victory. As a support main, this just means I either lose or have a shit time playing, but I just find it interesting that these things seem to correlate
The afk on top of the throw is incredibly tilting.... way to keep it together and make the enemy team work for the win!!
Damn I remember this happening to me. I was playing blind pick and I was in a game where I was hard carrying and my team fed. At the 25~ minute mark, all of my teammates were AFK, and I couldn't stop them all pushing sidelanes even though I was fed, and losing a few minutes later. Sad days, playing 1v5 and losing, even though you played well.
Its the worst when that happens in ranked and you still get devoted

I actually run a super weird Xerath build and use Rylai’s as a core item. I go Liandry’s, Seraph’s, Horizon, Rylai’s, and death cap. You don’t get typical Xerath burst, but you do get a lot of utility between the burn, slow, reveal, and the builds CDR lets you perma cast spells. I currently have a 68% wr with the build, so it’s gotta be doin somethin right
Forgot to mention this but the build also gives you a lot of health, combined with the slow from Rylai’s it actually makes you kind of hard to kill, you’ll usually sit between 3-3.5k hp at the end depending on itemization
This was like one of those RTS missions where you're supposed to hold out for like 30 minutes and then at the end you get run over.
Cait being shut down at 0-6 made me LOL
The funniest thing for me is how players right click more than once at the same location thinking that the champ is gonna go any faster. Haha.
You can't tell low elo players to 'stay mid', because they don't understand what you're trying to tell them. They don't understand that you don't want them to go where you don't have vision, they thought you literally meant do not leave midlane.

I never quitted a game, except when I really had to go afk, but like when it's about losing the game and still trying to win, I often had those games, and even if we ended up 3 v 5 I still never gave up😂

3:15 Okay, that was pretty smart. I would have blown my stun earlier when he was on top of you outside of turret but before hec ran in. I love seeing those small plays where just a little patience pays out big.
Edit. 3:41 Okay, the crazy thing is... Hecarim gets the credit for the play, but Zwag literally walking him back from the middle of the lane to the tower and saving stun because hec will push him back into tower goes right over his head.

Zwag it is always better to get a 6th item because of Rabadons and Mythic bonus giving more value to items. Cosmic drive for movement speed or whatever
I think the extra movespeed out of combat helps position better and the extra magic pen are more worth it in this case

Magic pen from the mythic bonus on top of 140 AP, 30 ability haste, AND cosmic drive gives movement speed.

10/10 game play. This is why I quit ranked tho, because you can play your champion perfectly, but one teammate (let alone 4) can cost you the game.
Riot put the 6th item boot replacement items in the game only for everyone to ignore them as such.
ADC: Phantom Dancer (of course, they already build this usually) or Black Cleaver
Fighter: Black Cleaver
Tank: Deadman's Plate
Mage: Cosmic Drive
Assassins: built into their lethality mythics which give 25ms with 5 legendary items acting as a 1:1 brown boot replacement.
These items basically exist as a replacement for boots in one way or another. They're balanced around that fact.
Do I think the game could have been won? I dunno it looked like it for a minute, but then Zwag capped out while ignoring a powerful 6th item, and the enemies got stronger. Maybe with one more won fight the game can be ended, but it was a long ass shot either way.
Damn good try. Consider a boot replacement item in the future.
Black Cleaver only gives you speed when dealing damage, Fighters with no range skill-shots will have much more trouble reaching the enemy.
Cosmic Drive's Damage increase isn't that great in relation to Boot's Damage increase due to their 18MPen. Cosmic also grants less movement speed unless hitting skill-shots so it makes running and roaming slower. It does give come with a Handy 30AH, but I wouldn't call it exactly a Sorcerer Shoes upgrade.
Also Adding onto your list: Youmuu's Ghostblade before being a mythic, I always replaced it as the last item when playing Pantheon cause of the 40 Movement Speed you gain out of Combat and the 30% extra speed on the active. Shame this item is a mythic now.
Rylai's is my favorite item and now i have inspiration to use it on our Zappy Boy
