A great goal scorer…..remember him well and he deserved to win something…….They played on some horrible pitches in those days but Mr Pettigrew still banged the goals in…..Top player.
loved pettigrew and the team from that era, joe wark etc. as a leeds supporter in the 80s i went up to watch motherwell regularly. local team, local fans, no bandwagon jumpers.. saw the only appearance by george best in the leeds friendly. happy times. come on the 'well..
@@clearanceflooring you might well have, he played for them. a while best made his sole motherwell appearance against leeds in about 82. leeds won 4-0. i have a picture of him being substituted. its somewhere in the house.. very grainy...
