whats worse is this is SEVEN days after surgery, which is no way enough time to heal from aggressive face surgery like that, so they'll be all bruised and swollen still, and yet they have clearly been caked in makeup to hide the bruises, so imagine how much thats gonna hurt having someone put all that makeup on a bruised up face like that 7 days later. not to mention they won't even look like this once its all settled. i wanna see how bad they look after 6 months.....when they escape their captors who forced them into this in the first place.

on the sister/brother thing, in south east asian countries it's really common to refer to people you're friendly with as sister/brother or auntie/uncle if they're older. it doesn't mean they're biologically related.

They are actually getting plastic surgery which makes them look much worse than the videos even show. These videos are heavily filtered by AI to try and improve the results which uses the same female filter, giving everyone including the man (8:04) a flick of eyeliner and widens their eyes (it even changed the colour of his eyes from brown to grey and made his iris bigger). You can also see the filter cause their shoulders to change and reduce trapezius like with the girl at 8:59 (it is only a slight change, but still clearly not normal or caused by video editing).
i'm so glad that dr kim hasn't actually brutalised that man for life as seen in the video but can you also explain why the surgeon leaves sewing marks at the top of their head as if he ripped their face off
@@electronicMassager123 thats because plastic surgery- facelifts specifically, involve surgically separating the skin from your face and 'lifting' it or adjusting the skin. its more complicated than that but yes, in a sense, you do literally get parts of your face 'ripped' off (its more like peeling)

yeah but listen my mother got a face surgery too just like this and its part of the healing process, just like with any living being the body will try its best to go to normal so this new face is like a brand new pair of shoes, it needs to wear out until its perfect according how she wants it because the first few months of the healing process did make my mother look like a demon but once it was fully healed and she had it for about a year it all mixed with her original face structure and now she just looks fine, we have to notice that skin can stretch, its why we get wrinkles, facelifts are basically just cutting away a bit of the skin and stretching what's left out across the face to kind of reset that wrinkel process, so imagine that everyone there basically started to blend with the original face structure and the slow wrinkeling after a while to the point it just looks fine

I actually think it could be a combo of both a filter and a product of surgery. Some of the surrounding areas of the face in the after photos look/bruised and operated upon. So the joke that the filters are just there to cover up wrinkles or intense scarring could hold some weight.

I do think they probably use a filter on the after, but I also think it's probably real surgery. The way some of them have the incision scars but some don't, if it was a filter it would give the same scars to everyone. The filter probably just smooths out the skin and adjusts the lighting.
Also saying 'my brother' and 'my sister' strikes me as just a friendly way to describe a customer more than literal family, like if they said 'client' or 'patient' it would be even creepier

I think one of the most important things for a plastic surgeon is that they ask what YOU want instead of saying what they think you should want.
I mean I’m not a surgeon but I’m assuming it’s kinda hard for an average person to know what it would look like just given a sketch on their Face id assume it’s more down to the surgeon themselves to judge how it will look

Just saying, even if the faces end up looking fine, it's not just the face that ages. Unless they're getting a full body surgery, most of them will end up looking extremely bizarre with the body of a 50+ year old and the face of a ~20 year old. And this is the best case scenario.
A lot of these are probably not going to look fine even when it's properly healed.
