what a podcast. these two dudes were my funnel into watching the NBA and falling in love with the sport. As a polish young kid, my dad watching Gortat on the Wizards had me hooked. Then I started to see some guy named John Wall do things on the court I have only seen in games and movies. Fast forward years later I'm a diehard Wizards fan that drives over 4 hours into DC for the games multiple times a year from Jersey. WallStar x Polish Hammer was definitely peak Wizards basketball to me
This was an awesome watch. Playoff Wittman was a thing. The wizards had a crazy good playoff road record with him as coach
Scott Brooks brought something different out of John and Brad but they were never as disciplined and defensive since Wittman left

Crazy to me that John Wall brought all his teammates rolex watches for xmas 2017 and not even 2 months later he gets surgery and u mean to tell me none of these dudes called or came to visit or even send a text ? Wall did not get the respect he should have got in many ways thru his career , dude had every right to be pissed

Good stuff! Watching those Wizards teams in the 2010s was a special time for me. I remember going to see them live for the 2013-14 opener in Detroit - it was about a day after Gortat joined Washington.
A standout game that they didn't talk about was an overtime game that season, against the Raptors. It was sort of a precursor to the Pacers playoff game that they discussed.
