In short exercise u didn't mentioned the reference of any substance value in case of TWA...like how u measure v allow to worker to work 8 hours in a day in 100 ppm..like we cant work more than 10 ppm of h2s in same case of TWA .

Pls tell me, How to determine if someone exposed, above value of tlv-twa...? Then what will the control messaure should take..?
Tlv twa has time and concentration of gas mentioned 8hrs a day 40 hrs a week, and concentration 1 ppm for benzene for eg. , So it can b easily identified with gas metre about concentration he is exposed to ( drager tube can b used ),
Control measures is to gas free tank for more time, send other guy if his exposure time is exceeding .

A chemical laboratory has violated the threshold limit values-time weighted average (TLV-TWA) of toluene (100 ppm) exposure for the 8-hour workers in the laboratory.
a. If the workers were exposed to 300 ppm for the first two hours and the measured TWA is 125 ppm, calculate the average measured toluene concentration in ppm for the remaining 6 hrs.

Did u mean calculate average measured TWA of Toluene for only 6hrs ?
The measured Toluene conc. In ppm for remaining 6hrs will be 66.67%
Twa = ( Cxt + Cxt ) / 8
125 = [( 300 x 2hrs )+ (× x 6hrs)]/ 8
So x will be 66.67%
The data is good, the explanation of it probably needs some work on.
