We did it! It Fixed! Who would have known na yun lang yun!
So that's why you shouldn't delete your thermostat!
Though this was all expected. 90s cars are 30 years old so there are bound to be problems. Yes they can be fun and reliable, but you need to have the luxury of time in order to get it to that state. Our little Honda Civic EK3 will get there! It's just that with our busy schedule, it's gonna be a while. It's not a project car kung walang i-pro-project hahaha! Enjoy the process!

Importante ang thermostat, pag tinanggal yan, lalakas sa gas dahil the ECU will detect na palaging malamig ang makina. But the thing is in the long run mas iinit ang makina, dahil you are not giving your coolant/water to stay in the radiator for sometime, to cool down. Without the thermostat, circulate lang ng circulate ang coolant, not enough time to cool down sa radiator. 😊

Try check water pump baka kasi may bungi na blades nya kaya di maganda ikot ng coolant nyo ma'am. Try lang po check baka yun prob nya😁 baka makatulong

got the same problem with lxi, ginawa namin nag palit kami highspeed fan then nag thermostat delete (for the mean time while Ill save-up for thermostat and thermos switch), may I ask how much yung 70degrees na thermostat? Thank you

If you installed a thermostat, mag flush na po kayo ng water sa radiator and palit coolant na po.

Yeah made sure it worked first before flushing and adding coolant. Kasi sayang coolant if top overhaul din ending 😅

@@chenee_hazel also uy congrats na naayos yung sayo lol, mine was not so lucky in that binalik na yung thermostat/thermoswitch and all pero overheat city pa din (and this was already after overheating on Rekta fan mode). Apparently the engine on mine was on its way out na talaga hehe.

No offense ma'am pero hindi po dapat inaalis ang thermostat..hindi na bababa ang ang temperature ng cooling fluid mo kapag continues na circulation. Dami mekaniko talaga nagsasabi na hindi daw kelangan sa Pinas ang may thermostat which is mali.
