B16B engine = Taller block, same stroke as the B16A, but with a longer rod. Less cylinder wall loading = better longevity
Someone mentioned nga earlier and I totally forgot while filming…shortest way to describe it was “detuned b18c type r”
I was in front of two b16’s so i totally forgot.
Oil jets, hand porting, etc etc.
@@almotor All the things you mentioned were spot on and very good info, including the mention of the PR3 based head casting of the local B16.
The CTR steering wheel being similar to the F355 one, that's news to me! 👍

B16B is a detuned B18C.
Yes actually more closely related to that. More like a destroked version, smaller tb and smaller cc injectors.
But arguably the pistons are better on a b16b with more dome haha
@@almotor uh yes boss, higher comp, and bigger bore for the B18C, then i believe the rest are the same. one more the ports are polished. hahaha.
