This is one of those "How the fuck did I end up watching this?" videos...
Yes
Or one of those "Hey this is interesting because I'm avoiding assignments!" videos lol
This is the, why the fuck is this in my recommended section, guess I have to watch it to get rid of it. You watch gaming videos or whatever and this pops up.
I looked up how to drill glass. But I wont be subbing.
FrostyFooy
Jack your smile in the last take made the video great!
Indeed. Cute nice very stand up guy. Love the videos.

TONEDEFINITE its jax ffs
Snapping the ring was a great idea, Jack! Perfect glue line ;)
First the hole drilling (using the putty to dam up the water was genius.) and now this. Breaking the ring instead of the obvious sawing it was more genius as it didn't leave a kerf.
Great video Jack!
15 year carpenter...Your pretty damn good Jack...Keep our trade alive man
Absolutely brilliant trick to break the wood instead of cutting it. Brilliant. Creative. Problem solving. I have to subscribe now. I hope I did not spoil the ending for anyone.
+Jeff Beck Sarcasm? lol I get it.
Very ingenious, I bet that trick has sparked many questions. You could sell it as a novelty gift. Well done and thank you for sharing the video with us.
You are only 1 step away from making impossible puzzles! You are soooooo smart! Thankz
Stuff like this make great conversation starters at arts and craft show. Awesome eye-catchers that lead to meeting some wonderful people and making new friends.
Thanks for showing amd sharing. 👍
strange how 700 people could dislike this i think its pretty cool
very true haha still a very cool bottle you got there
Well, you know what they say "You know you've made it, when you got Haters". lol
All from the lawyers of the parent company of Coca-Cola..
The title mislead me very much. I came here for a magic trick or some math video, what I got was a guy putting in half the ring then glueing the other half. The word impossible was what got me.
+Sancho Jimenez It's what's called in the entertainment business, entertainment. Jack's a fun guy!...and entertaining.
I think it’s interesting how many people can be impressed with such a basic concept.
"... unless they watch the video" :D
watch the video ?
Matheus Ispala his point exactly
Ezekiel Patlan
littlebighumancom that's the only reason I actually liked the video haha
I found the crafting of that ring extremely satisfying! Gotta buy some of those tools of yours!
+Jack Houweling im a beginner woodworking guy and you videos have helped me develop skill i didnt know i had and i get to spend time with my 10 year old daughter, keep up the good work.god bless
Eating dinner. Watching some of your videos I've missed. Good times.
lol so now I know why haha amazing tool collection you have, I was most surprised that you snapped the ring, thought you would cut it! Sir you have just gained another subscriber.
+MikesMovies Cutting it would not have given such a clean joint on the end product
I like the the thing you did with the wooden ring in the bottle. Keep on going
Jack you are very talented.thank you for sharing.
This project ROCKS!
+John Turner If that is a rock pun, why?
+Lord Tony just an expression like the project is: super cool, amazing, awesome, top notch, and unique......
+John Turner I know right! It's giving me WOOD!
That would make a great "after the party" trick... Set it on a table after someone has passed out and when they wake the next day ask them "What the heck did you do last night?" lol
If you liked it, then you should have put a ring on it!
Hahahahah love that
idiot
Lol... Good one
A very cool idea. Greetings from the Black Forest in Germany👍👍👍
I'm more impressed that you still have all of your fingers after I watched how you use that router so dangerously.
I enjoy your videos and teachings. Regards from Panama City, Panama. Happy and prosperous 2016
cause a natural break won't lose any Matter unlike any sawing would have.
i bet less magicians would get sued that way because their assistants claim they keep getting shorter every year
That was pretty good m8
Nicely done Jack!
Nice to see simple tool setups and not a workshop full of laser guided stuff.
.
great....now i have to get some starrett glass cutting tools.
.
love your stuff, Jack...!!
.
.
Great way to start a conversation/debate, and drive a few friends crazy. I love the project. - Annie
Kewl project Jack!
Your workshop skills are phenomenal, I learn from every video I watch, Thanks for sharing!
We watched the 'drilling a hole in a bottle' video, and after that we just had to watch this. Brill and so relaxing to see :)
Everybody looks at your videos Jack! Just because they are so nice to see...!
That was AWESOME! So clever, I wouldn't have figured it out. But thanks for sharing so I can get some sleep instead of being up all night finding the solution.
Nice project. Looks like a good conversation piece!
Awesome build Jack! A fun project!
LMAO You killed me with "unless they watch the video". That was hillarious.
Nice project. Thanks
One could do this with all kinds of things. I really appreciate these two videos.
"...unless they watch the video". Hah! Yeah, Jack, most of my friends aren't woodworkers either so they don't watch my videos either. I bet you're in the same boat. :-)
Cool project, both of them. I was surprised at how easy it was to drill that hole!
Alright I watched it, now PLEASE stop recommending it.
I think the use of a vise for a router table is a very good idea, I'm also sure that bottle on the mantle will raise a lot of questions :-)
THIS OLD MAN HAVE SO MUCH TIME. GREAT!!
You're always coming up with great ideas and ways to build them. This is another one. The breaking of the ring was a good way to keep the perfect grain patten! Must say I like your high tech and expensive router table - haha.
Very cool Jack !! Really enjoyed this ... Thanks for sharing.
Intellectual genius at work. Get back to us when you can do it without breaking the wooden ring!
If you love art, here it is you can learn a lot of nice tricks that you would never figure them out yourself thru all your life. Watch, learn and appreciate what Jack does here.
Another cool job Jack. Thanks again for sharing.
i love your videos man,im making the ring and bottle with my daughter tomorrow
Quite ingenious. I like snapping the ring vs cutting it. Thanks!
Haha, so cool. A little demistifying, but I can see how breaking it instead of cutting it makes a big difference. Looks like your hands are a bit arthritic, and yet you keep wood working. Good for you, my grandfather was the same way. Big applause.
Really awesome, Jack!
Hi Jack,Absolutely terrific. Thanks for sharing.Pete
would have been cooler if he broke the bottle and glued it back together around the ring.
Interesting process thanks for sharing.
Great video!! Absolutely mind boggling
That looks so cool!
I've never thought of cutting a hole through a glass bottle and I’v never seen that diamond hole saw bit before Very unusual Jack, can't wait to find out why, take care Harry
That's what it was for, I knew it would be something intriguing when I watched the last video,
Great job Jack,
Take care.
Harry
I love it, Jack! Very cool stuff. It was kind of hard to watch you break the ring though. Luckily it all came together in the end.
Pretty cool! I must try make this!
Great Video Jack!
Y'know, a professor of mine once had something like this on his desk. Never figured it out because he was the type that always liked a clever, indirect solution.
Cool tools! Great job!
Interesting project!

Mr Houweling. Great piece of work. Sure to make a conversation piece.

Impressive! You inspire me to do something with my hands as well.
That was pretty cool. Clever idea. I wondered why your other video was drilling through the bottle.
