Congratulations on your eight months of no smoking. Tell hubby congrats with keeping his sugar stable. Also tell him cataract surgery is a piece of cake. I had them in both eyes in my forties and it was the easiest surgery ever. Luv your videos and keep up the great work.

Renae, the main thing I've noticed about you since you stopped smoking is how beautiful your skin is, you look a lot younger and prettier...don't ever go back....when I had my cataracts done , they were a month apart (Canada), and man o man, it was so good to see again !

I'm in canada, and my eye surgeon told me that cataract surgery for both eyes can not be done within 6 mos for safety reasons. In case the eye doesn't heal properly. I had to wait 8 mos for my second eye. I'm so thankful I had it done. It's a blessing to see again ...

You should put a small microwave indside your market stand and stock breakfast sandwiches, freezer meals (individual) et.... esp if you get ppl on their way to work. Ĵust a thought
❤Hi, nice to see you. I was 50yrs old when I got my cataracts taking care of. I got the multi focal lens's n I don't need any kind of glasses for near or far. It's the best thing I ever did. Usually they waite a month inbetween, but all Dr.s are different. I had mine done in Tampa,Fl. So good luck to Mr. on that.

Hi Renae, I love the dishcloths from the Amish store also. One thing I noticed is that they don't stain!! I bought mine from H&M Country Store in Jamesport, MO. You could probably call and see if they will ship to you. They have 3 or 4 different colors. I think they were $2.75 each and if you buy a certain number of them, the price is cheaper. The next time I am in MO, I am going to go buy more!!

I quit smoking 27 years ago, after having smoked for 20 years. It took me a full year to be okay with not smoking. It took me not being able to breathe to quit for good. Like you, I quit a couple of times before, those were during both of my pregnancies. The last time, I gained 40lbs. the first year. I'm still playing around with 30 of those. Happy to hear you and your Mr. are both doing well! I know you know, he'll quit when he's darn good and ready! ❤

Congrats on making it to 8 months! I, too, quit after a health scare and asked God to help me stop, and you know what? That was 20 years ago and l never had the desire to smoke since. Oh I’ve tried several times prior and was horrible to be around l was so crabby… the struggle is real! John will quit again when he’s ready, just like you said…how understanding and loving to not crank on him. 😁❤

They did my cataract surgery about a month apart. It was a fairly easy procedure. John should do just fine.

One of the ladies I did home health for several several years ago, lived with her mother who was helping take care of her. The mother got bit by a brown recluse on the leg and ended up having to have it scraped off all the infection. She said it hurt like the Dickens and that’s not the word just to be nice. She said she cried because it hurts so bad when they had to scrape it.
I would run errands for him and go to the grocery store for him and clean house that kind of thing, but it was considered home health.

I quit smoking cold turkey years ago... & never went back. Bravo for quitting; never give into it again. I had to have emergency heart bypass yrs after that..congestive heart failure....all Dr's said..was good had quit smoking by then. 8 mo...yay you!!

I had cataract surgery a few years ago and an so thankful. Tell John there is NO pain involved at all. The worst part of that surgery is using the eye drops...I'm so glad I had mine done. UNBELIEVABLE!!!!!

Congrats on 8 month's of not smoking. I smoked for 40 years. Then I was going on a drive and it just hit me. "This is getting too boring." I never smoked again! I was 57 then. I'm 71 now. I don't miss it.

I live in NC and we have had temps in the high 90’s. Heat indexes over 100. Our humidity is horrible. You could just wring out the water from the air.
Praying John’s bite heals fully. Praying he will lose the desire to smoke. So happy for you in your smoke cessation. I was going to say you look like you’ve lost weight. I suspect healthy eating with John helps you, too! Keep hanging in there!!

hi Renea, when they did my eyes they did one first and gave it time to heel then they did the other. The only time I had to have it covered completly was in bed at night I had to ware ugly sunglasses in the day, they were ugly because they had to cover the whole eye including the sides. The worse thing about the whole thing was all the drops, there are a bunch of them you use several times a day. One of the drops stings a little bit but that was all the pain I had to go through during the whole thing including the operation.

I’m proud of you girl eight months and no cigs that’s great! You’re right John will do it when he’s ready. I quit for a year and then my husband died and I started smoking again and then I quit again 4/22 and haven’t had 1 since. The bad news is I have COPD and have been on oxygen for the last seven years. After I got the oxygen, I would take the oxygen off go outside in my garage and smoke. It is a powerful addiction.

I had cataract surgery. It was no problem. I wore glasses since I was 3 til age 51(thick) They can now put your prescription in the new lens. So no more glasses!

I smoked when I was 12 years old and our mother died from lung cancer she was 53 years old it was so sad but it didn't stop me I still smoke i thought I would die the same way but Praise God he helped me get free I found the LORD he has made our life so awesome yes we have had trials but PRAISE God he has been with us and still is😊hang on tight to him

Congrats on quit smoking for 8 months now! I've been smoking for 52 years now and want to quit but with all the stress of my Scott's cancer, I'm smoking more and i Still enjoy it . That's the real issue. I still enjoy it! My day will come....i have to find a different way to handle stress.
Oh yes, I so enjoyed it too. They were my best friends! But my scare was so real that it scared them away from me.
Good morning from Oregon. I love the aprons, especially the one with the pocket. Gotta have pockets. You and your friend should merch them. I know you can't say anything to Mr. Wayna about his smoking but I can. LOL. Smoking can affect circulation and that is also a big problem with diabetics (why people lose limbs, get wounds that won't heal, etc.). Sounds dramatic and it is, so Mr. Wayna needs to be careful about doing something that might make things worse. I'm sure, too, that you've been warned about watching any cuts (like from trimming toenails, etc. Especially around feet) So happy his blood sugar is under control. You take good care of him. My pop was a 3 pack a day smoker who tried to quit for years and he quit cold turkey when the price of cigarettes started going up. His cheapness allowed him to live to 92. And Mr. Wayna seems to like you anyway, chubby or not!
Oh if your friend sees this please get a hold of me. I will pay you to make me some of them.

Sounds like the beans / patty pan is chemical damaged soil soil. There's plants that will detox it & help next crop grow better.
What plants will help. I am going to change the soil too.
